Such a consistent theme throughout the whole kanya fest.

I actually wonder about this:
Kyoani always animate all the side characters, from the crickets to the janitor. No budget problems. SHAFT animate 8 ppl in one entire show always look like running out of budget. |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 13 2012, 09:14 PM) At that time I received an answer to the question I previously had. best i can tell, you are missing a page?I was trying to say: "By the way, about that strategic management that you have abandoned, what would you say if I'll study it?" But, what is this? I want to say it and yet, in fact, I feel that it's not possible to say it at all. This is the first time something like this happened. Also, this experience became a big key to solving previously unsolvable question. >Now I knew. Why did Fukube Satoshi break Ibara's chocolate? In short, it feels like this. In a rapidly darkening Chitanda residence, the thing I said was not the thing I wanted to say, it was a different word, but perhaps with the same motive. Trying to seem as unsociable as possible, I said. "It became cold, huh." However Chitanda, looking slightly surprised, opened her eyes, and slightly shook her head while laughing softly. "No. It's already spring." QUOTE different word, but perhaps with the same motive. Trying to seem as unsociable as possible, I said. "It became cold, huh." QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 13 2012, 10:26 PM) Yeah, I quoted some from the previous page When I try to read that much text, I feel my lvl of Japanese is like this:» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « "I don't feel angry or sad about returning here. I want to fulfill my duty as a daughter of Chitanda family that has a leading position in North Jinde. In school I've been thinking about the ways to do it. One is to make everyone wealthy by exceeding the competition and producing crops of high commercial value. Another is to ensure that everyone won't become poor by having a good eye for strategic management and optimizing the production. In the end I decided to choose the former. For that reason I chose science (as my specialty)." Chitanda asked me, who wasn't able to say anything, again. "Do you understand the main reason of my determination?" "No..." I started speaking when a thought crossed my mind. "It's just I have a feeling the last one doesn't really suit you." Chitanda nodded a little. "Correct. Frankly speaking, cultural festival and anthology were a real turmoil. I realized that I caused Oreki-san a terrible inconvenience. I'm probably not suitable for company management." That's right. I think so. While sitting on the veranda, Chitanda spread her arms to the sky. The sky was already mostly dark and even few stars could be seen. "Please look, Oreki-san. This is my place. How is it, there's nothing here except water and earth. People also gradually grow old and tired. Mountains are systematically planted with trees, but what about commercial value? I don't think that this is the most beautiful place. I also don't think that it's full of possibilities. But..." Lowering arms Chitanda also cast down her eyes and muttered. "I wanted to introduce it to Oreki-san." At that time I received an answer to the question I previously held. I was trying to say: "By the way, about that strategic management that you have abandoned, what would you say if I'll study it?" But, what is this? QUOTE(Silencers @ Sep 15 2012, 09:46 AM) So I was rewatching the Juumoji arc. Then I really though to myself what a delicate story Hyouka is. There's beautiful sense of subtlety, and it's like puff pastry. Lots and lots of thin, fragile layers that crumble so easily. I guess an anime production like this can only really happen if the studio is genuine about what it's doing. Not many studios have that anymore, these days. It's a sad reality we face, I'm afraid. Agreed. Many anime like to pour on melodrama like heavy sauce. Like sos and mayo at Kyro's Kebab. Spoil the flavour.I like how Kyoani can use small amounts of screen time to add depth and dimension to all the side characters. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sawakiguchi-san moe. QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 17 2012, 04:28 PM) Nope. Ep 22 is the last chapter from vol 4 of the novel. There is only one more novel meaning there won't be enough material for s2. KyoAni always stick to their material source so they won't make any original story Smells like a direct2dvd OVA, or a movie.....Or maybe is time i go buy the damn LN and relearn how to read Japanese. |
