Dear sifus. I need some guide and help. As I am now using an A55, it has an EVF instead of the normal mirror VF that normal camera uses. Normally the EVF suits me well, giving me instant view of the final image that I would be shooting and wether or not it would end up overexpose or underexpose.
That is until today when I was shooting with my friend in his studio. You we were using mostly high aperture number, (F8 to 16) with ISO100/200 and also maximum 1/200 since we have the studio lights to compensate. While my friend can shoot normally with his old camera, my EVF will give me a BLANK screen since for it, that combination of aperture/shutter speed/iso is too dark. I ended up bumping the ISO to max, compose, turn the ISO back down, refocus and shoot. Works but takes a LONG time Is there any way to trick the camera that there is a flash on top of the camera? I know if the camera detects a flash, it will automatically brighten up the EVF to compensate that there will be extra light from the flash. Thank you |

QUOTE(ieR @ Apr 15 2012, 11:49 PM) linkinstreet: you need to know ur camera a little more. the max sync speed is 1/160, but that doesnt matter in studio, as when going low iso with F8, mostly at 1/60 u get blank frame (dark frame). you need to trick the EVF to run auto compensate (which they have the option in A65/77 and new A57) since ur flash is blocked by trigger, u cant pop up the flash, another way is to use 2 adapter, sony hotshoe to standard hotshoe and viceversa to increase the height of the trigger so u can pop up the flash. or u have to live with it and learn how to read the composition from the dark evf ![]() Thus I ended up with this weird picture ww QUOTE(chiahau @ Apr 15 2012, 11:42 PM) Saya tak kaya |
