QUOTE(vccy @ Oct 1 2012, 10:01 PM) Hi sifu-sifu here babypips.com & forexfactory.com is a good place to start, and it's free. there are tonnes of self-claim FX "gurus", robots and even "100% profit" strategy out there in the internet, so beware if something sounds too good to be true. Plan to invest in FOREX. Would like to ask where can i attended seminar or talk regarding on it? I do google and research online on how to start with it. I do went to babypips to do the reading and easy forex on their demo videos and simulator. But still i am not so clear on the stuffs and I would like to know more on FX. I don't think you wan to explain to me 1 by 1. Got any recommend books or website that can provide me more informations? Really appreciated it. thanks but if you prefer to LEARN technical analysis, here's a structured course with personal coaching that you help: http://www.anthrova.com/Programs/Online-Trading/ Added on October 4, 2012, 3:54 pm QUOTE(kingkong999 @ Oct 4 2012, 03:16 PM) wei. i really doubt this. how come whatever he predict is true. get me shocked after seeing his post about aud/jpy. nobody should trade early in the morning. thats the common thing to do i guess but he did, and he was right. can someone explain to me do the method really works? i mean yes i found his eBook very very logic. hey man, i don't know about that but you can check this out: https://www.facebook.com/Signalysis?fref=ts(i download because its free. dont say i buy and waste my money) his fb page which he update about the trades : https://www.facebook.com/pages/JanganPening...192208427580741 it seems more legit and its also free. it's that Friday of the month again. NFP and Unemployment Rate. Any thoughts on how it would affect USD? I'm looking at bullish movements for most USD pairs. EU & GU especially.

QUOTE(Desvaro @ Oct 7 2012, 01:01 PM) greetings from Indonesia. told you i went jalan2. anyways, GVF are still operating secretly. Anyway, even if I trade it using my standard acc, I also still call it 500 pips... QUOTE(Amal @ Oct 8 2012, 10:23 PM) I trade sell for GBPUSD for 1.62248 since mid September. mini, micro, standard or pro account. a profit is still a profit. better than loss! Now it's 1.60327. QUOTE(foccacia @ Oct 16 2012, 08:20 PM) Hi All, I like to start trading in forex but I am a complete newbie with 0 experience. you can try FXPrimus, I've been using this ever since I started out with trading. From demo to live account. Never gave me much problems.I read some post regarding micro accounts with only 100 USD to trade with. Can someone recommend me trusted websites who has demo accounts or these micro accounts? Some strategies I read is never risk more than 2% per trade, but I feel without proper experience, reading the theory does not do much good. Any help will be very much appreciated! QUOTE(AraBaMaSaNa @ Oct 17 2012, 12:13 AM) Hi, that's called spread. the difference between bid and ask price. that's how the broker makes money. it varies depending on account type and brokers. usually for eurusd, gbpusd. it's 3pips. meaning if u enter a trade, you'll start of with -3 pips.Im new in forex and dont have any experience trading I just tried a demo account which i download from the website is it everytime we buy or sell also will start with negative amount ( - ) ? just like i buy or sell with size 0.01(10 cent) in EURUSD everytime will start with -16 (is it normal)? mean i start the deal from -1.6 usd ? but when i directly close the deal and it just cost me 0.16 usd i dont understand about this can any1 explain to me please? Thx alot Added on October 17, 2012, 4:39 am QUOTE(mchicken @ Oct 17 2012, 04:36 AM) That's the spread i guess, you need to pay for the spread when u get in, let says the buy is 1.234, sell 1.237, the spread will be 3 pips. if u buy 0.01 lot, the the spread will cost u 0.30 usd. In your case, the spread is 16 pips, that's kinda high, which broker u trade with? eh you already replied that guy. oops my bad. just noticed after i posted my replied.IMO, you can read thru the babypips.com to get the basic idea and knowledge, then u play around with the platform to get some exp and feel. QUOTE(solstice818 @ Oct 17 2012, 05:07 PM) You should be glad that your risk is zero. A lot of traders lose money this week. i'm a quite defensive trader. after my trades move into my favour, i'll lock in some pips and let it run.Market is a bit odd at the moment. The gold trades yesterday earn some pips but it went up again today.... Let's see what happen next week. I m out for this week. yea sometimes gold bites. :/ |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Oct 17 2012, 05:31 PM) I m that type too. It's just that sometimes when Spike happen, it hit the SL at BE then went up again in profits and I was angry at myself for putting SL. Happened quite few times to me... haha true true, that's what we always try to tell ourselves, +1pip is better than none or negative pips.with that said i just entered a trade on gold. QUOTE(tom_87 @ Oct 17 2012, 05:42 PM) planning to trade again...but need to learn more bout MM and also the technical analysis..and also trying to find a reliable signal...just as an investment...huhu...and also changed to xemarket cos of the positive reviews... honestly, any strategy can work and make money. keep it simple. why people blow their account and cannot grow their account is coz of poor MM. it doesn't matter if you can do 20 straight wins but 1 gold trade or greedy trade take out those profits. just focus and improve on your MM. it's actually pointless to go search for the best technical analysis or trading system if your MM sucks. took me quite a while to realise this and also cost me my first account which was usd1500 but that was back in dec 2011. oh yea another thing, don't trade alone, have group support and at least someone that you can be accountable too or check ur analysis. that helps too.
