QUOTE(dillmac @ Mar 15 2012, 12:04 AM) Second after Stockerzzz! haha. I was a little bit late to be after Kevler. haha. yup. should be the daylight saving time adjustment. thats why there is some difference.Alright! EuD went lower. My next level to watch is a break lower of 1.2955 which is the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level of 16 January low and 29 February high. Looking at nearest support at 1.3006 and 1.2974 as a precaution, just in case it turn upwards. I'm a little bit confused with the timing now. Did you guys had any time zone changes recently on your trading platform? |

hi, i not sure Quinn is still here. I am starting to trade using Ichimoku. I know how to setup the entry point and also stop loss. But, as for take profit, do you let the trade run or setup ur own target TP? coz i still wondering how to set TP using this system.

QUOTE(dillmac @ Mar 22 2012, 01:20 AM) I was wondering, could we apply value investing principle on currency as how it is being applied to stocks? i believe it is very hard to apply value investing principle in currency. Come to think of it, there are too many variables that affect the currency value compared to stocks which is only concern about their growth potential. In stocks, u can see the stock price increasing gradually every year for the company that u choose using value investing principle. But in currency, can u see any pairs that are gradually increasing compare to the other pair? besides, currency is used internationally which make many variables affecting its value such as war, macro economic news, rumours. But, of course this is just my humble opinion. perhaps there are other senior trader here that can provide their view and how they trade as well. only based on technical? Would it be worth while? Or is the macro climate for currency too complicated, unlike businesses where you have intrinsic values. If value investing could be applied, for the pair of Eur/Usd, which country is more valuable? If so, why? Is there any fixed calculations or formula where you can look up to? |

QUOTE(vektor_sigma @ Mar 26 2012, 06:28 PM) I own an Oanda trading account, and I want to fund the account for the first time. if u lazy, u just go to ur nearest maybank counter for TT lo..just tell them what amount of money u want transfer and fill up form then settle already. at least if u dont know something, can ask them. The Funding Source I choose in Oanda is Bank Transfer, and then Wire Transfer. I like to do Telegraphic Transfer via Maybank2U, is it TT and Wire Transfer the same thing? But in the TT page, many fields to be filled in, like IC or passport of Recipient, address, contact and so on, so how? Thanks in advance... |

QUOTE(dillmac @ Apr 7 2012, 07:59 PM) By algos, I suppose you meant the algorithms that are set by the banks and large funds? who is ur broker dilmac?Make sure that your broker has not changed any policy towards the fixed spread. Another reason, it could be because of less activities during the day due to Good Friday holiday. My broker previously has a fixed 60 pip spread. But recently, they sent a notification saying that they can no longer offer fixed spread for the time being. |

QUOTE(kevler @ Apr 7 2012, 10:15 PM) a colleague of mine said that he deposited 500 dollar for real account on one reputable broker on Sept 2011 ...and now , after 6 months of trading ...he already earned USD 410,000 dollar .. it is not impossible. most of the thing ppl lack of is they do not have the psychology to handle large amount of money when their account start increasing. Discipline, psychology and money management plays a large role. I guess ur fren very pro on every aspect of trading As far as i know , he only trade on EU pair.. do i have his trading screenshot ? frankly speaking , no. but as far as i know he is professional trader and he has his own trading class with student whom want to learn more on trading strategy. he is more into Elliott Wave and some other customized way on how to trade like a pro. #moralofthestory : 6 months to achieve 1 million ringgit ? i think it is not impossible. |
