yeah man. rage will get you everywhere.
although i agree about the side quests being dumb, i like the fact that there are more story quests. ME2 felt like an entire fetch quest for me, fly all over the galaxy fetching new members. There're only 3 main missions, Horizon, Derelict Reaper and Collector Base. I didn't like that, I wanted more of the ME1 feel where you collect all your teammates at once then go about with the main story. ME3 is a bit closer to that. And as I mentioned before, I don't think that is the ending. They may have shipped an unfinished product but I remember them saying something about wanting to change the ending due to the Xbox leak last time. I'm waiting for any announcements from developers before I make judgment...
3rd replay of ME2 (to produce a faithful shep-2-ashley save) was quite a chore - didn't realize the fetch quest element until this round. Apart from the irritating GUI, i really liked samara's loyalty mission to hunt down her ardat-yakshi daughter, discovering Legion..
Behind the scenes of mass effect 3 on ipad for usd$3.
http://www.me3finalhours.com/The ending is final and there doesn't seem to be more to come after, according to what i read at BSN on the 'final hours' app + huge uproar at the motivations of the mass effect creators who seem to have burned out and ran out of ideas for the ME universe..
Having not reached the finale of ME3, i'm kind of ok with an unconventional ending seeing that i consider the whole of ME3 to be an ending in itself playing out over 30 hrs - with a twist in the epilogue for better or worse.
