So funny. I went to check out their website out of curiosity and there is absolutely no information there about how the investment scheme works. Everything there is about how great the company is, how many people have participated and how much money everyone has made. There's a "Hibah" link that you can click which sends you back to the same page with no additional information at all. I can't believe people can fall for such scammy tactic.

Actually it is also BNM's fault that things have to come to this. It has been a scam since the very beginning and the company has never been afraid to be high-profile. The authorities should quickly jump on and shut down these things promptly when they appear. Yes, new ones come up all the time but it is BNM's responsibility to ensure that they have the resources and manpower to keep on top of things.

In a way, Genneva has become too big to fail. There are so many people involved in it now that the political cost of going against it now is overwhelming, tempting even politicians to support what is perceived as a popular cause in spite of all the evidence.

Hopefully, BNM will learn from this lesson and be more proactive about responding to scams in the future.
