As I have said it so many times to the pro genneva camp and its consultan, you all should fight/explain to the authorities instead of the forum here. BNM, Islamic bodies, PPIM are your enemy.

Pat Lu is no ordinary investor, she is a senior consultant for Genneva, most probably all the stories are all fabricated sob stories to bring some pity to the company. She is selling a scam to fund her son's college fees, what is so proud of that you have to announce in the newspaper?

They do have a big cable... He/She is the son/daughter of Sultan of pahang rite? (sori, dunno Tengku Muhaini is a man or woman ) I hope BNM will not bow to any pressure..

1. I really feel sorry for those people cause right now their loved ones are in trouble. Put yourself in their shoes, how would you feel?

Genneva Malaysia Supporters will be organizing a MARCH TO PUTRAJAYA to appeal to Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and the government.



We were informed by Genneva management last week that we will get our gold, hibah and commissions this week. On Monday 1 October 2012, Bank Negara Malaysia raided Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd and froze GMSB's bank account. More than 60,000 families and their livelihoods are affected.



OUR DEMANDS:



1. Gold confiscated by Bank Negara Malaysia to be returned to Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd (GMSB) immediately for delivery to us.



2. Unfreeze GMSB CIMB bank account immediately as Hibah and commissions to over 60,000 customers are due.



3. Stop attacking, persecuting and tarnishing Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd in the media for assumptions and suspicions without evidence.



4. Remove the good name of Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd from the BNM Consumer Alert List as gold trading is an unregulated industry in Malaysia.



5. Acquit Genneva Sdn Bhd. This court case is ongoing since 2009.

the fact is, the investors are scared to death. to a level that ALL they need is someone to comfort them. hoping that the company will come back to life? and if the company does come back to life, guess what is the first thing the investors would do?

I think the victim here maybe is the government for losing so much company income tax.

Just imagine how much profit this company is making throughout these years. Does these type of gold investment companies get taxed...?

Btw, customers investing in this scheme, LHDN personal income tax will know or not since BNM no control over it since establishment ?

SOME POINTERS FOR MR JONLAU

1. Genneva Sg is a pte ltd co.
2. The latest a/cs submitted to Companies Registry showed negative net assets, I.e. liabilities exceed assets.
3. The masterminds of GEn Sg include Ng Poh Weng, Marcus Yee and Chin Wai Leong. All 3 are I think M'sians, all facing charges in KL under the Banking & Financial Institutions Act BAFIA, and the Anti Money Laundering Act AMLATFA. If convicted, face fine of up to RM10 million and jail time of up to 5 years. All this info is available in the Bank Negara website, Status of Cases.
4. The 3 masterminds are alleged to have absconded with at least RM47 million from the bank accounts of Genneva SDN BHD, the subject of the Bank Negara investigation.
5. A pte ltd co that is unable to honor its obligations or becomes insolvent will have to be wound up under costly legal procedures. In almost all cases, the masterminds have prepared for the bankruptcy and run way with the cash and goods. Upon liquidation, almost always, the creditors are left with NOTHING.
6. From the very start, there have been a million warnings that Genneva is a PONZI, a scam, a con job, but these warnings fell on many deaf ears.
7. Under Sg laws, the shareholders and directors of a bankrupt co are not responsible or liable for the co's debts or promises, so you cannot sue them successfully.
8. However, the police can get involved if there are elements of fraud, cheating, CBT, forgery, etc. i.e. any criminal wrongdoing. In these cases the directors/managers can be arrested if they were personally involved.
9. The MAS can also b involved if the activities are those prohibited by MAS or require MAS licence to operate. MAS may have broad statutory powers of arrest, investigation and prosecution, just like Bank Negara in M'sia. It is strange that while many gold investment co's in M'sia have been raided, closed down and charged for offences (e.g. BESTINO Golden House of Ipoh, The Gold Label, Genneva SDN BHD, etc) to date MAS has not lifted a finger to act. This is something you may wish to raise with your MP. Sg is renowned for its squeaky clean authorities, so it is strange that the gold scams flourish with impunity!

These pointers may guide you as to what is the next best course of action.

Those who fell into such a scheme should take a step back and think over why in the 1st place they would join such a scheme. It's greed. You lost your money, take it as a lesson learnt in life. If anyone is going to think of getting their money back in such a scheme, you are going to waste more hard-earned money into the drain.

You either lose your money and move on with life or harp on this issue and lose even more money.

There are people who joined this scheme and got burned. And there are many people out there who knew of this scheme and did not join despite persuasion.

Hasn't this scheme taught a lesson out of everyone and yet why still go on with suits to recover the money when subconsciously everyone knew it is not going to end up anywhere? Don't indulge in self-delusion that money can be recovered. Move on with life and earn back that money that is lost. Don't make another mistake onto a mistake.

All my friends got back the return as promised for the past 2 years. Only these recent few months, they heard rumour that some Geneva agents have not received or faced delay in receiving their commissions. Fortunately many of my friends were able to stop once their contracts have completed just before this raid excepts for 2 friends of mine.

Reward in ponzi scheme is real although unsustainable, those benefited will want it to continue forever regardless.
