Please allow me to pose a hypothetical question to all Pro or against Genneva scheme sifu:

1. Say you took the risk, invest in Genneva for the past 12 months and SUCCESSFULLY earned RM40k of Hibah in the pocket, all your initial capital are re-funded and intact, now INVEST in Citibank FD earning 5% (the offer for any new fresh fund, currently still running).
2. Then you re-"invest" this "new-found" RM40k back into Genneva, earning RM800.00 month after month, keep renewing it with the same RM40k earned capital (full 100% military-grade discipline), pocketing the "Hibah/interest" of RM800.00/month
3. You can surely afford to have Genneva close shop due to whatever reason, then decided to sell off the gold in hand (say 200gm) at whatever "cheap" price
4. You are still a winner, right? As long as Gennvea is still running, you are still a "no risk" investor/schemer/fool.

In life, everything involve risk: marriage (divorce later, abusive spouse etc possible?), working (bad boss, manipulative colleague, company close shop, met with accident on the way to work or back home, occupational hazard, or new management find excuse to get rid of old faithful staffs to cut cost etc), home living (being robbed/killed/injured etc Alarm and camera system selling very well now), holiday local/oversea (transport related accident, disease, stumble into criminal, being conned of fake stuff/warranty etc) and anyone of us may have stroke/diagnose of terrible disease tomorrow and many many more.

So, Genneva is also another RISK in which we can take (like new job or new wife/hubby), managed or non-managed, it is still RISK! Small appendicitis surgery is simple procedure, also has RISK (managed/no managed) your life is in the hand of the man who cut you.

I knew Genneva about 4 years ago, I happened to follow a lunch mate to their office at that time, not many customers at that time, heard all sort of incredible story from customers and also agents who made it big. I also don't believe into it, while my friend earning a big bulk of money from it till today, another way of saying, I MISSED the boat!

However, seeing Genneva still surviving "healthily" in 2011, beyond my understanding. I decided to take this calculated/managed/non-managed RISK, and sailed through the "trading" or "investing" or "being Ponzied", whatever you called it.

The above 1. - 4. is my actual life experience with Genneva and still going on as I type this. I believe there are many "discipline" fools like me doing the same earning some extra pocket money for the food bill on the table. Definitely better than putting the RM40k into 3% FD earning RM1200.00 after one year, vesus 800x12=RM9600.00 per year!

Just my 1 cents opinion, don't shoot me, please. I for one, thankful to Genneva for this extra pocket money. Yes, I am a fool, but I think I am better fool than those who still support the current government and those who still align to MCA, MIC, Gerakan etc. Thank you and happy forumming.

I had appendicitis surgery, and did not sign any forms like that. Do people normally sign these forms?

LOL.. even if we suck at debating, people can read the thread, see how many people are complaining.. smile.gif  If there's so much as one person that claims that his bank refused to give him his money, I'd not be banking there any more lol smile.gif

In the end, read for yourself the posts, and then decide for yourself lol smile.gif

Oh, ya, I am the fool who happen to work in medical line and have heard of many medical negligence or mistake that cause further injuries or RIP. Sorry, I have no liberty to elaborate this further. By the way, I am not interested to defend anything here, nor I want to defend Genneva, I only thanks them.

By the way, Mr/Ms wodenus: you said "So you decided to stalk these forums for four years, looking for a chance to post this?"

1.) First of all, how old are you? (Yes, I imply you are just a kid or simply CHILDISH, you pick one of it, ok?! Way childish in this modern Google aka knowledgeable era.) I guess you like controversial comments, you just got one here.

2.) Second, how do you know I have "stalked" this forum for FOUR (4) years? I said I knew Genneva for 4 years, does it equal to monitoring (better choice of word, boy or girl!) this forum for 4 years? Have I slept with you unknowingly that I told you I have stalked this forum for 4 years? (I am no gay, I assume (just like you, just ASS-U-ME I stalked this forum for 4 years) you are sweet 17 virgin and get me drunk lah.)

3.) Third, have my writing offended you in any way that warrant you to resort to such a harsh comment or personal attack? Have you heard about: "I will agree to be disagreed!"

4.) Fourth, I thought this is a forum, a platform for sharing opinion, pro and con, point to point. what you did is "making a personal comment" on others opinion which not necessary have to be align to your kido head.

5.) Fifth, I have a happy life, gracefully working everyday to ensure 250 sick people (more to come) to have proper quality-of-life every alternate day, full-filling their medical need to the best I can. I certainly do not need to justify anything to kido like you who act like a fool, like me. Yes, I agree, I am a fool.

Finally, Please read this slowly: I said "I knew Genneva about 4 years ago", not stalking this forum for 4 years! Sigh................ a small RISK I took to express my opinion here on this lovely Sunday, I still unfortunately stumble into a great FOOL like me in this cyberspace. I am out of here....happy tembaking....

Anonymous bro, i SUPPORT YOU, those fella seems to be more than caring for people from falling into the "scam" (claim by them lah!), but they themself too chicken to invest/buy/whatever term you can use here, but whacking non-stop on Genneva, as though this company has done some bad thing to them. We are all adult, we make our own decision, I do appreciate their kindness in trying to warn rakyat from being "con", but what they do has gone beyond trying to warn, it look like it has become personal, for them. Why can't they spend their energy in helping rakyat to get back the RM250 million conned by some crony in Cow-Condo case!

If they are so angelic, and love to prevent rakyat from being "con", I did not see them working/talk hard to prevent people from borrowing from Ah Long which has been PROVEN to cause much bigger problem to much more rakyat than Genneva.

I know they will whack me on my writing here, so be it. Thank you Mr EddyLB, you have championed a good cause, anyone who have read your post is considered being WARNED, if they stay away, good for them and you have done a good job, if they decided to jump into it and earn the extra % of return and take the risk, so be it! Please move on with your well-natured life, you will live more happily, I wish you! BTW I am also one of the investor/buyer/fool/whatever in Genneva, I have earned enough to afford my money in Genneva now to be burned, so, don't worry, I take my risk, I can afford to be burned now. You have done your good work, move on. Tq

Dear Gark,
Allow me to quote your post:"How come the pro Genneva 'investors' all so quiet liao? whistling.gif"

Also allow me to "dis-quiet".........

Judging from you putting the "whistling" gif, you seems to be very happy or enjoying seeing people suffering from their stupidity of insisting investing their money into Genneva. You will say: "Serve them right!", right?

We are all adult, greedy or not greedy, we chose our life path. There are plenty of advice here NOT to go in, we hear you, but we take the decision of going in, if we ultimately turn out to be stupid and lose money, it is our loss, vice versa, if we gain, it is our gain. On the same note, it is your right to laugh at pro-Genneva people for being stupid/greedy, but it also reflect your bad personality "whistling" at people misfortune/stupid loss. When people lose money because of their greed/stupidity, the least you can do is to remain neutral or hoping them learning a hard lesson, the LAST thing you should do is to add salt to their wound. what do you gain out of it? I would say you get "shiok sendiri" (which is your right) in front of your PC lah. I deserve my right to think of you - gark, as a childish person.

BTW, I am one of the Pro-Genneva guy. I still have a few hundred gram in it which I can afford to "lose" it as it is already a "loose change" I have earned from earlier buy/sell. We take our chances (stupid or wise, up to each individual choice), some had made really big, some made small or may lose if Genneva close now. It is people choice. Your can advice, comment, "forumming" about it, but "whistling" at Genneva-loser? I rest my case.

FYI, I still received my "hibah" last week, as scheduled. BNM raided the office recently will be just another day in life, chances taken, earned it, done it, that's it, life go on. The extra money from the hibah will be used for my coming Samsung Note II, life worth to enjoy, not taking happiness on other's sorrow even though the "other" are not as wise as you! (the "other" can be kind hearted than you as I know some of these "stupid" investor donate their time and money for charity). As of the gold (which you may like to think it is fake one, I don't know) in hand, can be handy as paper weight next to my Razer mechanical keyboard as my aircond have strong blower. You like Genneva to closed shop, you may got your wish now, chapter closed. So, I think you can rest now, take time to do some reflection, learn to be a better, caring person, enjoy the life you have, continue advising but don't laugh at people's misfortune/stupidity...don't!
Sorry, too serious already, time for COD3......bye .... Happy Mid-Autumn, Tq

To those who quote karma this and karma that, I found this good quote from someone in another forum, just to share with those karma-this-karma-that smart alex:

"要給人希望,不要給人絕望。默默的關懷與祝福,亦是無形的布施。
凡事能站在別人的角度為他人著想,就是慈悲。
想著利益幫助他人,是慈悲;能真正付出行動關懷,是人間菩薩!!
(translation)
To give hope, don't give the people desperate.
Caring and blessing in silence is also invisible giving.
All things to stand in other people's shoes for the sake of others, is compassion. Think of interest to help others, is compassionate; can really pay the care action, is the human bodhisattvas!!"

Some of these senior CONsultants were making Rm30-40k a month. Easiest thing to get them for initially is for tax evasion because I doubt all of them filed tax returns to the amount they have taken as commissions and also Hibah.

Added on October 7, 2012, 5:34 pmI think several of us should start a real support group called Genneva Malaysia victims Support Group where we can pool our resources together to find jobs maybe for those now without income and also those who need help in schooling. No point just talking about how wrong they were. This is more productive because telling people I told you do is also not helping because what's done is done

Dear terry8, finally I see a good personality in this forum, kudos to you.

But I can't speak the same for this guy/gal: EddyLB who wrote: "You should show the philosophy to the bank negara officers...." I don't have to show anything to BNM officer, I don't because I SUPPORT, I REPEAT, I FULLY support what they did, afterall, it is their job, they are paid (from my tax money too) to do the job to investigate and ensure everything (Genneva, or whoever) is in proper, if not, then close it down, bring the culprit down, put them in their rightful place. But everyone is innocent until proven guilty, unless you are like one of UMNO guy who put people under ISA in order to protect her (Teresa Kok case, remember), that's why BNM said 2 weeks to revert.

Finally, I have nothing to do with you and vice versa, I do respect your freedom of expressing yourself, but, please, don't give me the "You should......" thingy, keep your opinion/advices about me to yourself, the last thing I want in life is getting your DIRECT advice, I do read your posting and advices, that's good enough. Also, "I told you so", "you all are stupid greedy" thingy that you propagated a lot here, I get you, all the 60k victim get you, if they loss their money due to Genneva closure, your "I told you so" doesn't bring any beneficial to anyone except maybe, I said maybe, your "Shiok sendiri" factor lah. Please have a life, you have posted hundred, if not thousand (a bit exaggerated here) of advices here, don't you think you have done the "job" excellently? I on and off reading this forum whenever I have some free time to burn, I guess, posting "advices" (not to me, please....I appreciate it.) seems to be your only life, judging from the number of post you have here. You are free to count my post too....hahaha, I am out of here, got to bring family to Shogun at Sunway Py. To other who's still hanging around, Happy forumming......, and ...you...go and get a good dinner, happy dining.
