I can only say i am lucky that price of gold has gone up since i bot it at RM200/gm. It doesnt matter what price UOB gold is sold at cos if i were to sell it today, i get est RM168/gm wic is 16% loss right?? But if lets say price of gold dropped tremendously and goldmsith only give me RM150/gm, then my loss is 25%.

And assuming lets say i earned 2% x 12months hibah = 24% after one year.....then my profit is hibah gains 24%-gold capital loss 25%= 1% nett loss today.

But becos i earned 2%x6mth + 3%x6mth=30% after one yr...then my profit is 30% - gold capital loss 16% =14% nett gain today.

Becos of this formula, you can understand why customers dont really bother much about the gold price mark up of 20-25%. I went to listen to one of the gold talks and the mgmt said yes they use the mark up lets say 25% plus they also buy at wholesale price for the gold bars another 10% they make...they use this 25+10% to hedge/invest to make profit to share. If this is true, dont u agree its a sound biz? But of course if they just roll around in our money and dont invest to make more profit then all of us customers i admit are stupid and kena scammed lo!!

From what I see, you only focused on the hibah for the whole full year of your investing period without considering the gold price. Does that mean the price you buy from Genneva is exactly the same as the price you sell back to Genneva?

So I assume:
First, you buy a gold bar above 25% markup price form Genneva.
After 6 months, you sell back to Genneva with the same price and earn net profit from hibah 12%? Next you use back the money from the sellback and buy the same gold bar to earn hibah 18% for another 6 months?
If it is the same gold bar, the management does not need to buy new gold cuz you are just buying the same gold bar. Thus there are no new profit in wholesale gold bars of 10%......correct? (No new gold bar needed rite?)
Then by the time you sell back the gold bar to them with the same buying price, the management give back the 25% markup to you. Thus eliminating the so called profit 25% the company got for second hibah.
So you really believe that in 6 months, the company with the 35% profit from selling the gold bar to you (during first time) can generate enough money to cover the profit of your first hibah and also your second hibah??
And still for the whole year, we are just talking about 1 gold bar?????????

So the process of buying and selling repeat, repeat and repeat......rite?
And the same f**king gold bar is being used????? Tell me where is the money to generate the profit. What wholesale? What Hedge? what Invest?

Hey guys, no need to be so righteous and scold me!!! If you are intelligent and din get involved...then kudos to you!! But have a heart for those who dont have money nor gold in hand!! I know many ppl who are affected personally so i hope BNM will rtn to the customers what is theirs.

I accept everyone's opinions but the customers deserve answers whether good or bad!! Can we all agree on that??

BNM shud come up with their report once and for all and then no more speculation. They froze  the previous company as well as many other companies on suspicions of whatever and no news after that?? So what happen to all the gold and $$$?? Who gains the interest on this after so many years??  Can anyone answer that??

So my assumption is true?

Sorry if I sound like scolding you. I get too fired up when typing the reply....
Thanks for sharing the information with us. Well, lucky for you that you still had the gold bar. icon_rolleyes.gif

It's hard to sympathize with them when you read comment like this

If the BNM not yet release any statement that confirm the company is Ponzi, they can stay in their dream and deny everything.
But now BNM already release statement confirming that the company is a Ponzi Scam, do you really believe they are still dreaming and in denial mode?

I don't think so. In fact,I see this as a desperation act of consultants to continue diverting the attention (since they had been so successful in doing so from the start) of their customers to BNM. So that nobody will come to kacau them and blame them. The whole facebook setup thing are being done by them not by the management. The consultants know clearly that as soon as they admit the company is a scam, customers will immediately turn to them. So don't stop the music.....keep it going.

Maybe the directors also blur blur now and had no idea what hit them. They look more like directors for window dressing and scapegoat only so that when the time come, they will take all the blame. The real culprits are probably drinking wine somewhere in an expensive cafe celebrating their Genneva 2.0 SCAM success.

The good thing is I see some of the customers are starting to wake up from their dream.
