Let's pray for them that they will be able to recover from this ... seriously. It's tremendously stressful for them. Imagine if you and I lose our jobs today without notice and without compensation. It's very difficult and frightening.

best government could do is perhaps dissolve all their assets and distribute it by % to those who have invested..
the directors should have their assets distributed as well.. those bastards...zzzzzz

like the Swisscash case, the remaining money will be refunded to investors after the investigation is finished, hope,those who were affected,will get their money back

Well, at this situation right now, has anyone tried to examine the gold at the goldsmith?

Why saying BNM setup a trap ? Why not the other way round ? Geneva no money to roll to downline, i heard the Gold is not 100% gold (heard from contact sum banks been cheated by Geneva), before BNM raid - suddenly got large offe to investor - Invest RM100,000 will get Free IpAd.

Got all the profit, best way to run away / closed shop = Use BNM raid as and an excuse to freeze payout. Tiuuuuu

THE NOTICE VS BNM IS GENNEVA's PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE TACTIC.
DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO MAKE EVERY INVESTOR BELIEVE THAT BNM IS THE CULPRIT.
THEN EVERY INVESTOR WILL FORGET THAT IN FACT THE GENNEVA MASTERMINDS ARE THE REAL CULPRITS.
WHEN BNM REPORTS ON THE FORENSIC AUDIT OF GV GOLD STOCKS, CASH IN BANK, MONEY RECEIVED AND MONEY PENDING TO BE REPAID, SURELY THERE WILL BE FOUND A VERY BIG BLACK HOLE, THE MONEY AND THE GOLD WILL BE FAR FAR SHORT THAN WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE BOOKS. THIS ALREADY HAPPENED IN GV1 WHEN RAIDED IN 2009 wWITH THE CASH FOUND TO BE SHORT BY RM47,000,000.

THE SITUATION LOOKS VERY VERY BAD FOR THE GV INVESTORS. SHOULD HAVE HEEDED ALL THE WARNINGS ABOUT THE PONZI NATURE OF THIS SCHEME.

I can't believe the denial of the Genneva supporters...even my cousin bro also brainwashed by them...

But when I ask him "do u know what is meant by 'illegal deposit-taking'?", he dunno, until I used a simple analogy to explain to him...

If Genneva is a credible business, with nothing to hide, why can't they have proper compliance with laws? Don't tell me with so much assets under management, so many customers, so many big shots behind them, they can't employ a properly qualified compliance manager/department...

Pay Money > Pass Gold > End of Story - ok
Pay Money > Pass Gold > Pay Hibah > Buy-Back Promise - not ok

If the Company has filed a false declaration under Part II of the Eight Schedule for exempt private company (Genneva) that is solvent by certifying in a Certificate which had been signed by its director, a company secretary and auditor stating that:
(a) the company is an exempt private company;
(b) an audited accounts in compliance with the provisions of the CA 1965 has been tabled in the company’s AGM; and
© the company is able to meet it liabilities as and when they fall due as at the date of the audited profit and loss account.

Then the consequence under Section 364 (2) of the Companies Act 1965 is::

Every person who in any return, report, certificate, balance sheet or other document required by or for the purposes of this Act makes or authorizes the making of a statement false or misleading in any material particular knowing it to be false or misleading or intentionally omits or authorizes the omission or accession of any matter or thing thereby making the document misleading in a material respect shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.

Penalty: Imprisonment for ten years or two hundred and fifty thousand ringgit or both.

Lol if they are genuine company, should give full cooperation with BNM. Now they are declaring a war with BNM. BNM wont budge.

While I do sympathize to a certain extent, I do feel they should have thought over things carefully when they invested.

GOLDEN RULE: Don't put all of your eggs in 1 basket.

Just because there are great returns is no reason for you to go all in, or worse - take out a loan as well. You only have yourself to blame if the investment collapses and you lose everything. Why didn't you diversify?

Also, if anyone approached me telling me that there is an investment that can provide 2% return per month, I would be asking them to lay off the weed or something.
