Practically we still went to Rasa for peacock Bass le. But we didnt catch anything.

Report on Saturday 260507

Reach the destination at 7.30~8am, pumped up the boat and off we go. Me and Bro KLMT in Colossus and Bro Nottie on Navigator. Myself caught 5, took few shots and the rest released in water. Largest was about 4kg. There are plenty of misses and few hookup but spitted the hooks before i see the fish.

Bro KLMT, got 1 hookup but unfortunately the toman went into snag causing bro KLMT lost 1 lure(DTFSS07)

Bro Nottie, on boat have zero actions but when he's on shore there are few strikes but misses.

Overall it's a scenic place and it's good practise ground. I'm sure we will be heading there soon, again....

Pictures are in my HP but i forgot to bring the card reader, so no pictures today. Maybe bro KLMT can post some of the beautiful scenic shots he have taken.

another point to note is to ensure no one is at your back before you start casting.

I had mine as well, got hookup at my knee cap. Removed all the split rings, lures and sure, remaining the treble hook at my knee. Cut open my camel pants, and slowly pulled it out. Unfortunately, it got stuck rock solid. Got no choice but to hold a nice position and give it a steady but strong pull. After few rounds of that, it came out. Minimal blood, and i'm still walking. At the end of the day, went for a tetanus jab

Another experience is on the boat. Hook size of 6/0 long shank. Got it on my lower thigh. That one much easier, the hook penetrated and came out. All i did was cut the barb at the U shaped area and remove the hook reversely. Minimal damage

BTW, what id the plan for coming weekend?

I can only fish on Saturday morning as my mom is around and would like to bring her for jalan-jalan
