Please do not go to MOCO. They have made many promises but in the end cannot deliver. I had many bad encounters with MOCO and will discourage my friends to go there

Can share experience? What have they promised and did not deliver?

I walked into Aspial SS2 too. But was kinda turned off because Yen was so pushy & hardsell.
Keep forcing us to sign up on the spot. Aft persuading us for almost 2 and half hours, we walked out and never return.  sweat.gif

If she was less pushy, I might consider returning & sign up with them.  As the photography skill look not bad.
Just that I want to avoid being forced to top up for any additional photos or service after we have signed up.

Anyway, their gowns aren't that impressive for me unsure.gif

hehe the "sign on the spot" thing didn't bother us, cos after you experience a bridal fair.. you realize almost all are like that. I have to agree it is very annoying though thankfully I have a very stubborn husband. Otherwise habis la. haha. And yes, we did experience that hard sell with Dylan and Yen. Though we had already surveyed other bridal studios and found Aspial to be most suitable for us (only thing was the price kinda ex).

Don't worry about it, take your time to choose.. diff ppl have diff styles and taste. smile.gif You might wanna try Lasposa. Not bad also but photography wise my friend said wasn't that impressive. Gown selection is huge! Their boss is the one who will come and close the deal. When you hear him speak, you understand that he is a businessman, in other words, good at marketing/selling his product. haha. I went with my friend two years back when she was her choosing package, he did say we can go yum cha think about it etc before making a decision. So in a way not so hard sell? smile.gif Make up wise also good, my friend even engage the MUA for actual day.

Happy Bridal Studio hunting! wink.gif

But it was the 1st or 2nd shop. So, surely would wanna see a few more b4 decide ge mar.
If it is good, ppl sure will come back. But d way she hardsell, i really tak boleh tahan shakehead.gif

Hi all,

I would like to share my experience here, i sign up with Aspial for 5000+ this march at Midvalley and take the pre wedding pics in Penang, During da discuss with the sales person (penang team)...everyone is so nice, whatever n everything is ok...as i told told them i love smtg is natural, elegant, classic feel, they will just tell you [YA, u like this feel, dont worry i can make it for you, AS YOU ARE CUSTOMER, AND WE LOVE SOME CUSTOMER GIVE US SOME FEEDBACK AND WHAT THEY LIKE, AND SHARE OUR OPINION TOGETHER] and I ASK THEM IS THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES FOR DIFREN CATEGORY OF THE GOWN OR ANY SELECTION GOWN HAVE TO TOP UP? they said [u can choose all da gown in ss2 or penang branch, ALL the gown you can choose it from floor 1 to floor 3 and u NO NEED to pay extra charges for it. (off course i sign up is just for 4 gown only). so off course 4 gown that i choose is no extra charges la. But end up when i go ss2 try for gown i just find up NOT ALL GOWN but there is some SIGNATURE that have to top up, (SO PLEASE DONT say can choose all the gown from floor 1 to floor 3 and there is no extra charges.)

- Aspial ss2 signature gown top up RM2000+ per pc
- Aspial PG signature gown top up RM500 per pc

So the most interesting thing is while we taking the re wedding pics, the PG photographer, i dunno is making joke to cheer us up or what, he saw my engagement ring, he said in front of us, [AIYOOOO YOUR RING SO SMALL AR, ASK YOUR HUSBAND BUY A BIG ONE FOR YOU LA...]. i dunno how you guys think about it while you hear it....
and off course the makeup n hairdo i really very disappointed at it, as i gav them some opinion, cz i really dont like it and they reply we dont do it bcz we usually do da difren of you for prewedding shoot, [SO MEAN THAT MY PREWEDDING PHOTO WILL HAVE THE DIFREN OF ME???] and b4 shooting i had discuss with the photographer i WANT to have some shooting in the garden, cz i love the green and fresh scenery, HE SAID OK, YA ITS A GOOD PLACE.end up HE CANCEL THE LOCATION.

honestly until now, THERE IS MANY BAD EXPERIENCE I CANT DESCRIBE and after i saw the pics i UNTIL NOW I STILL cant accept da result.IM SOOOO disappointed of the Aspial Penang.

I didn't know that about MOCO! I almost took their package on a friend's recommendation (4k+ package , add on 2k for nicer selection of gowns so total 6k). Maybe it's because they are expanding business, so not the same as before?

I took Aspial SS2, possible to get a package at your budget. You can speak to Yen or any of the consultants. When I went to bridal fair I spoke to Dylan (Photographer) & Yen.

My package is 2 day shoot - KL + Penang (7k+ before discount), going to shoot in Oct. Gown selection wise, not a HUGE variety but can say most of the gowns they picked out for me to try were very nice. The service is very friendly so far, can't comment more yet cos haven't taken pics.

Must note, they have more sparkly (lots of bling bling) type gowns available but it is at an added cost. Personally I felt that from the normal section there were plenty of nice gowns, not necessary to go for premium unless you have the budget for it.

They are also very honest and upfront about other charges not included in the package (also pretty standard for most bridal studios).

Hi,

how was your Oct photo shooting in KL & Penang? do you satisfy on the outcome?
Mind to share your package, ie price after disc, posses?
is your package allow you to choose 1 SIGNATURE gown?
any other hidden cost other than fake eyelash, ampoule?

thanks smile.gif

Please don't consider Ivory Romance, not value for money. Photography and design is outdated. Only selling point is their so called designer dress.
Photo album is more on the photographer skill, editor not much. If photographer can manage to capture the nature look of the person. I mean nature look, even if there is some fat or not so good looking but the moment, nature smile is important.
Remember your album is capture the moment, not album for magazine posting. Many ppl thought want to have model a like look or magazine a like cover. Advice, it won't mean much for your wedding. Wedding photo and so called model photo shoot it different.
I was paid for this lesson. but lucky i hire a good freelance photograher for my wedding day at church and luncheon. The smile and expression capturing is so different, you just smile back when you look at the photo.
I not going to bad mouth on this Ivory shop but I just advice you ppl to consider more things before signing up and paying up the album. I rather spend more on actual day wedding than the album. Remember a piece of good photo is better than whole piece of album.

I agree with you. On the other hand, your ROM ceremony is also a good source for nice moments for your photo album as well. We always try to sell that idea to our clients. But still, majority still prefer nice wedding gowns and magazine style poses. I guess that is just the trend and human nature. I guess if you can combine both, it would be a perfect pre wedding photography a person could desire.

Cheers and wishing you a wonderful marriage..... icon_rolleyes.gif

Has anyone signed up package from the bridal house called My Diamond Wedding? This bridal house was located at Jalan Ipoh, but now they have moved to SS2. Anybody would like to share your experience with this bridal house?
