i read the galaxys2root.com guide on rooting the sgs2 one, on the part installing cwm, nvr states "... chance of having yellow triangle". in CF thread under xda for sgs2 states that its troublesome to install ics... currently still finding a safe method of installing cwm without the risks of having yellow triangle, just assume my friend's sgs2 has been rooted... thanks in advance

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Mar 16 2012, 09:12 PM) If your phone already rooted but have yellow triangle and without CWM then you can try this even if you want to flash ICS firmware (assuming you're using non-G phone) - install MobilOdin Pro from market. - flash ICS stock firmware with MobileOdin Pro with the Ever root section enabled. This will eliminate the yellow triangle without losing root. - flash CF-root kernel with MobileOdin. This will give you complete root, new SU and CWM. **all this if you're on non-G version phone. should be non-g type, he bought it last year. i assume this is the safest method but i kinda confused about the bold text u said. what i know, rooting alone wont give us yellow triangle, but when install cwm does, can explain further?
