full wipe, you will lose all ur apps and app data(save game etc) and ur phone will be back the way you bought it(apps i mean) any other files that you added into your internal will still be there(musics videos documents pictars etc)

unfortunately the good players are commercialized but if you want a player with lots of settings, neutron music player is the one, it has more 10x things to tweak than poweramp

bro, you try check the md5 hash same or not? or you try extract the entire rom out of the .tar file with winrar, if can extract nicely then its okay, not corrupted, if not try download from another link

hi guys, i just flashed criskello ics rom and i noticed that the media scanner drains the battery and also under storage in settings the things are still calculating,
when i open camera, it says media scanner running and quits.
nothing in my external sdcard is listed in music and gallery
if i force close media scanner, then my camera will work
when i tried google around, some say that it will take some time to scan the first time you boot ics
i wanna ask is this normal?

ahh not a nice bug sad.gif a reboot definitely did not solve the problem, and even flashing a new cf-root doesnt help and its still 'calculating'

google around and seems like i'm not the only person experiencing this, but definitely the first person in criskello thread @@

any other recommendations for ics roms?
they say the new lp7 solves alot of bugs~

you mean extra betteries? you can get those like andida or another one around rm30~50 or the original 1650mAh is around 75 only.

an update on my problem, it seems to have been fixed.

waveweaver was right, i unmount the sdcard then the internal one managed to scan complete after some time, then i mount sdcard and around 20 mins later, done scanning. when i restart again, it just scan awhile then done ad.

now got 2 new problems

high ram consumption
internal sdcard getting filled up all the sudden

I just tried to use Wanam's Stock Browser to access www.lowyat.net. The page loaded within 5-10 seconds. I don't think there is a problem with the stock browser.
Btw, I'm using Wanam's Stock DXLP7, not the Wanam Lite version.

That other person just bought the phone, so we were going though pretty much the same thing. Also, ICS seems to love brighter screens. I find mine running at max nearly all the time. yes i noticed that too, with auto-brightness, its so bright, and the lowest brightness is more than enough if not under bright sunlight
