Bros...just came back from work...am deciding to go for the european ICS...any links? Can't find it from page 1 though..

Also I have rooted my S2 not too long ago, basically just download the firmware and use CWM to flash the new firmware?

Looking at the page it seems that I have to wipe -> change my firmware to XXLPQ -> flash to ICS, correct?

Mine is I9100DXXKL1 or 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF1-CL265340 root@DELL106 #2

Hrmm need some advice here...my phone is already rooted...so basically I should do a backup via CWM and attempt the impossible?

Download the new firmware and load via ODIN?

Anything else I should do before I begin flashing that?

Just flashed ICS via Mobile Odin, no prob without wipe at all...running smoothly.

However, I felt that the launcher is similar to GB leh...I thought ICS launcher theme, dial pads, SMS'es, calendars should be different right?

How come still macam default GB Samsung theme...dissapointing...

Okay *panic* mode already...

My phone is stuck at the GALAXY S screen with a yellow triangle bottom.

Previously I flashed via mobile odin using;

I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXXLPD_I9100XXLPQ_HOME.tar.md5 (300MB)

Then I reflash using;

CF-Root-SGS2_XX_XEO_LPQ-v5.3-CWM5.tar (6MB)

Although ODIN said successful but its stuck at the boot screen.

Anyone can help?

Guys as much as I love to find in the XDA forum but I'm unable to find a stock ROM which is based in MY and I'm kinda clueless to whereabout to move next since I tried many ways to flash it but still stuck at the yellow triangle.

I even tried to go recovery mode (volume up+home+power) but it still brings me back to the yellow triangle boot screen.

I even tried flashing back to CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OJV_KF1-v4.0-CWM4.tar but still failed...

Guys sorry for repeating...

Just came back from work and now in the midst to revive my phone.

Previously my phone was running on KF1 but was rooted, then I proceed with mobile odin to flash I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXALPQ_I9100XXLPQ_HOME.tar.md5.

After that I went and re-flash again via PC ODIN using CF-Root-SGS2_XX_XEO_LPQ-v5.3-CWM5.tar.

Problem now is it is STUCK at the bootscreen along with the yellow triangle. It does not boot at all..

I've been reading and many says try to re-flash back to stock rom...I tried downloading the LA4 but it takes ages....the site is just too slow...is there an alternative to this?

I tried reflashing back to ICS but I get a failed message from ODIN.

QUOTE(freddy manson @ Mar 15 2012, 08:14 PM)
try going into recovery mode (Volume Up + Home + power)
there's a few things there..
if u can wipe ur system, cache and data (not internal SD, just ur system partition) then do a wipe and then re-flash via Odin

Recovery Mode = Volume Up + Power + home
Download Mode = Volume Down + Power + home
*
Nope can't go into recovery mode...everytime up+home+power it brings me back to the GALAXY S2 logo with the yellow triangle...it just stucks there...

QUOTE(destEX @ Mar 15 2012, 08:31 PM)
are you having the charger cable or usb cable attached when you press the 3 buttons combo?
*
Don't have this USB jig thingy....what does it do?

The charger cable is not attached when I perform the recovery mode...

Download mode...yes can enter but everytime flashing ICS it gives me a failure....now trying to download the LA4 not sure whether it will solve my issue.
