Hi there all, a noob here trying to understand what you all are saying...after reading all the pages, many question marks pop up in my head and hope some kind soul can help me in understanding more... 1)I saw many of u recommend to do a full wipe before flashing to ICS.....full wipe means restore the phone to the condition as u buy before right?so does that means all the thing below will be wipe out? -contacts -message -song -picture -game -application and how do u all do a full wipe?isit by setting->privacy->factory data reset? 2)To flash to ICS, basically I'll need to download the official ICS firmware from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544487, right? and then what should I do?I cannot seem to find a matching kernel version for my phone which is 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF1..... sorry for all the noob question.....I nvr root my devices before and already read all the info at the 1st page but still hard for me to understand those thing..

QUOTE(nicregi @ Mar 15 2012, 02:15 PM) Of course it is possible to brick your phone. Regardless what, as long as you are trying to do something to it, you might risk it. Again, follow the instructions should be working right. Of course, always read and understand before doing. Page one has most of the information but again, if you need any help, PM is just a click away aww....thanks for ur kindness....well last time I did try to pm some1 but in the end all I get were some insult and humiliation.....so since that day, not very dare to pm any1 anymore(even post something in here) anyway, I'll read and understand all the thing 1st before I try.....
