Guys,can someone help me.After i get back my phone from samsung service center,it seems my phone cant upgrade its firmware from kies.

Your Device Does Not Support Software Upgrading Via Kies.

I never rooted my phone or install any custom firmware before.using stock rom 2.3.6 all this while.tried googling around but cant find any solution for this.any ideas?thanks

already check it and its XME.Do i need to select it again and factory reset it?am worried if i'm unable to update firmware to ICS later on due to this problem.had no problem whatsoever before this.happen after i sent my phone to service center.

is the official ics rom for malaysia samsung s2 non g version already comes up at kies?will try factory reset if ics already out

anyone can help me how to change the firmware to malaysian firmware?must be the guys at samsung service center did something on it since i sent for warranty service after some guys at samsung shop failed to flash stock rom or something

Yup.now my kies can detect my firmware and can upgrade if any future upgrade available.was hoping that ics is available.guess gonna wait for few more days or manually flash it if hands itchy.thanks again

I did use screen protector but tear it out and using it bareback for few months.lucky no scratches. But im really impressed with my friend's htd hd2 if im not mistaken.he was riding a motorbike and his handphone dropped from his hand onto the road and was hit by 3 passing car.Whats amazing is the screen is still crystal clear.only the casing at the back is broken.but overall all function is still available and good to go.
