Those here who are already on custom ROM or stock ICS please test the push mail function (Gmail) and see if its working.

R u sure ? I tested it for 2 days no push mail comes in. Unless I manually open the gmail app and refresh it.
For me push mail is push mail when the email is immediately received by the phone the moment the sender sends you. My job of line requires me to immediately attend my emails.

For now im back to CR v6.

Then you are not sure what you are talking about. When I explain my necessity to have push mail and its indispensable for the line of job I am in. Which means I take my emails seriously and my device is hooked to a data plan for the mails to be pushed to my phone the moment it arrives to my gmail inbox.

Ill try thebyani after this. Really trauma now to try ICS. Most of time on the move n push mail not coming in means trouble in where work matters.

I doubt it works. I was on stock wanam also tried wanamlite 9.5 and 9.6. Doesn't work well at all. Mails don't come in unless I manually refresh and wait. However ill give the thebyani a try. Main concern is email comes in when I'm on data connection.

yup better use protection. This not only apply for the phone but also for other things

yes out ready. no official malaysian rom but got custom rom and official indonesian rom out

yes can providing you setup your phone using the same gmail address you use to purchase the apps.

I am not using google contacts.. all my contacts are stored in the phone.

depends how many apps and how big is your data. mine takes around 5-10 minutes
