The thread in xda says flah update in CWM to install the ROM, is this just it? I didn't install a ROM in CWM before.

Got it, but some say do not have to do full wipe wo... And they say without the wipe also can work like charm, no problems etc. I admit I'm lazy to backup and restore all my data again as it's very slow. 

Guys as much as I love to find in the XDA forum but I'm unable to find a stock ROM which is based in MY and I'm kinda clueless to whereabout to move next since I tried many ways to flash it but still stuck at the yellow triangle.

I even tried to go recovery mode (volume up+home+power) but it still brings me back to the yellow triangle boot screen.

I even tried flashing back to CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OJV_KF1-v4.0-CWM4.tar but still failed...

Just to verify, means I can skip step 5-8 since I'm installing the same modem? (XXLPQ)

AndyX ICS 7 is so stable compared to wanam. Too bad the icons are not ics, but seriously not a single FC or hang so far. Impressive.

i'm confuse why my baseband,kernal,and build number all different.
so far the things i mess with is,

-install MIUI and restore back to stock 2.3.3
-flash official ICS (LPQ), cmw restore back to stock 2.3.3

The others are cosmetic bug, some menu are white font on white background. (well wanam got some black/grey font on black background so its even.  )

I dun understand the one about M contacts. I see no problem there. And CRT is not important.

Dunno M contacts looks fine to me. I very seldom use video recording. So will stick to this one for now. Seriously not a single hang / FC (except video recording  ). Using now with thunderbolt + siyah alpha 6.

Dunno but it think should be OK cos ics to ics. Hmm maybe i should copy wanam camera app over and see if it can fix video recording. 

Edit: OH WAIT I THINK BETTER NOT. i read your question wrongly. let me check something.
Yeah you CANNOT flash alpha 6 on that version. Alpha 6 only for LPQ.

yeah alpha 6 works on andyx 7 if this is what u mean. and also wanamlite.

Most custom rom is zip format meant for CWM. Unless you download stock rom with tar format then you can flash with mobile odin.
