QUOTE(The Analyst @ Mar 19 2012, 11:27 PM) Hello guys, thinking between this phone and the Sensation XL. What do you guys think? Not that much gaming. More into watching YouTube and web surfing. A LOT of web surfing. I suggest you wait for Samsung Galaxy S3, bottom line if you ask people in this thread, of course they will tell you get an S2, but really if you like music get the HTC got beats audio, but other than that, S2 was not the best phone of the year for nothing..I know S2's specs are better than the Sensation XL in general but will the XL be more suitable for my requirements? I also prefer the build quality of the XL, feels more solid. |

QUOTE(The Analyst @ Mar 19 2012, 11:41 PM) Thanks so much guys. Actually, i am not willing to spend so much on the note or the S3. My only two choices are either the S2 or the Sensation XL as they are the only free phones that comes with signing up a new plan here. I am leaning slightly towards the XL at the moment. Can i just ask if the Gorilla Glass of the S2 holds up well against scratches? You kidding me? Even if you take a knife and scratch the glass, it will not have a scratch ..Even if you drop if from neck height down, assuming normal height person not a midget, then it still will not break, of course it depends on the angle of attack of the phone and the amount of force you drop it from. If you just let go then of course velocity is zero at start and it will not break, the probability of breaking or shattering is low, but if you throw it down by force with a certain non-zero velocity then sure it will break, bottomline is that the gorilla glass display is very resilient and strong, being able to withstand a substantial amount of scratch or force applied to it.. So it is quite a good investment on the S2 gorilla glass display... |

Lets support.
Btw I told you Dice Player is the best, don't believe, can play MOV, others cannot.. But one bad thing about Dice, when having the subtitles the apostrophe comes out as question marks.. Other than that, don't dice your chance against Dice Player. |

QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ Mar 20 2012, 10:32 AM) i'm giving up removing the yellow triangle from my wife's i9100G. each time i flash the stock kernel, the CWM options will be disabled. cannot flash any thing no more..i've tried all instructions from other i9100G thread except the usb jig... Hmm, I thought just go to download mode and flash back the original kernel for your specific kernel, and then the triangle will go away, mine did.. |

But I have to say apple's store has some apps that are way way way superior than that of Android.
For example garageband, no way on this Universe that any Android app would match Garageband.. My opinion.. |

Everybody just relax, S3 will be out before Olympics, but reach here after Olympics, but before the end of the world , which is 20 December 2012.. So just do other things like custom ROM on the S2 while waiting for it..

QUOTE(rattan @ Mar 20 2012, 01:15 PM) R u sure ? I tested it for 2 days no push mail comes in. Unless I manually open the gmail app and refresh it. Err, anyway this is what happens, I on WIFI, then I do some other things, after less than a minute, suddenly when I have mail it will appear in my notification bar, and then I click on it to read my mails, using Gmail..For me push mail is push mail when the email is immediately received by the phone the moment the sender sends you. My job of line requires me to immediately attend my emails. For now im back to CR v6. Guys please test push mail for me on ICS stock or custom ROM will do. Sorry, I am not sure if it is what you meant... Actually I've noticed that ICS have alot of partial wakelocks, as because last time when I was in GB, there were no wakelocks, so my battery life could exceed a day or two..
