I'm going somewhere on the 18th. Booked my flight since last year. If I have my exam on the weekend, the lecturer won't accept 'going to vacation' as a reason right.
Rescheduling flight needs more money la

I checked the academic calendar, it said the exam week is until 20th may. 19th n 20th is weekend. Do mmu really have exam on weekend?

my class is full yesterday so I don't have time to register for club and society. I want to know is it important to register for clubs? is there any effect with our result if I don't register any.
I have 3 subjects this short sem so I don't think I'll have time for any society. If I register next sem and be active then also can right? |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Apr 1 2012, 10:25 PM) MMU has not been revised its fees for more than 5 years iinm dy while other private institutions revised theirs every year or every 2 years. Majority of these insitutions are also ranked lower than MMU and even a few with non-accredited programmes, but charge higher fees. A simple survey among Uniten, UTP, UCSI, Nilai, Inti, Monash and Nottingham for its engineering programmes revealed that MMU was actually the second lowest. The hike in fees is thus justified, though it should be have done gradually starting from the past few years. I feel cheated coz I just enrolled for 3 weeks. And suddenly the fee increase. I understand that the fee need to increase over the time but a sudden increase of RM2k is too much for foundation year. |

I don't really care about other private institutes coz I always wanted to enter mmu. What stressed me out is why they don't inform earlier about the fee.

QUOTE(eClIpSe_R3tr0 @ May 4 2012, 06:08 PM) I went to the campus there myself to hand in all my documents LOL . If they really say did not receive , I really dunno how la . cyberjaya students are more likely to get a place in hostel. There's a lot of empty room. But I think problems like this would be unlikely to happen unless if the documents are being submitted via post . Melaka's full , hmm okayy . I'm not into Melaka campus though . Mine's at Cyberjaya campus . @bro nymerine : Oh , okay . Now I'm just wondering if there is any more space left for hostel . If not , no choice have to find own accomodation . |

QUOTE(vk9545 @ May 5 2012, 12:57 PM) yup shirt and slacks. and dark coloured shoes. But during my time they weren't strict on this. Everyone just wear whatever they want. But just bring your formal clothes. Just in case they are strict about it this time. |

QUOTE(se-hoon @ May 9 2012, 04:15 PM) Hi. I already joined the application for june intake and got a place for Foundation in Management in Cyberjaya. I still haven't confirm my place. For UPU I was offered uniSZA's Diploma Kewangan and I secured a place in Kolej Matrikulasi Kedah. I'm pretty sure I don't want to do matriks. 1. For me, it doesn't matter about diploma or foundation. What's important is what are you studying. You are offered diploma kewangan and foundation management which are just the same I think. So why not you just do the foundation if you don't mind to pay MMU fees. Plus, MMU has better ranking than uniSZA.Unfortunately the Uni that was offered through UPU is not my choice, and I'm quite doubtful to do diploma and insisted on doing foundation in MMU. But after some talks and browses on this forum and elsewhere I heard that it's better to do a diploma. So now I'm getting a hell of confusion right here. Finance-wise, of course it'll be a whole lot cheaper to do diploma rather than foundation, time-wise foundation would be a faster route to completing a degree. 1. Why should I choose to do Foundation rather than diploma?, or vice versa 2. Are there high chances for privately-fund Alpha students to get full scholarship from yayasan tm or others to continue in degree? 2. Yes there's scholarship from TM, MARA and others. You just have to make sure you study hard to get it. There's also ptptn. If you get amazing result, you can convert the ptptn loan to a scholarship. |

QUOTE(CallMeBin @ May 13 2012, 08:09 PM) If I'm not mistaken only MMU, UTP and Uniten can get ptptn loan for foundation.Added on May 13, 2012, 7:31 pm QUOTE(annje @ May 13 2012, 08:09 PM) I got some inquiries here. I don't know about degree but for foundation you need to pay about RM4000.I have been told that for intake June, I gotta pay RM 1550 for registration fee. I would like to know that , what is the total I should pay if I apply PTPTN. even apply for PTPTN I only can pay by PTPTN after first sem rite? Which means for 1st sem I have to pay on my own. So in that case I want to know how much in total I have to pay before I get PTPTN ? This post has been edited by tubby myan: May 13 2012, 07:44 PM |

QUOTE(EddyG @ May 25 2012, 10:43 AM) Hi guys, new guy to cyber's FOM this June. Just wondering, I heard from a friend that this Sunday's registration day is only to confirm yourself as a student and I'll have to register for subjects online on another day. Don't think I'll be going for the orientation as I am traveling and don't plan to stay in their hostels. So could I get any updates here on the date to register my subjects? during registration they will tell you when to register subject |
