Yeah, we weren't told how to check our result and such. But as what devil94 said, we did meet lots of awesome friends from there. And were told some basic stuff...so yeah, it's not exactly useless.
*
Where to check result is considered basic stuff. Meeting friends is out of the domain.

We have our orientation FB group where we can just ask questions there and OCs will answer us smile.gif
Though it is of course better if they taught us how.
*
That will only benefit those who read that post. Same thing here, will only benefit those who read this thread. Orientation should target all freshies.

Hey guys, I've applied just recently(due to a complicated twist of events) and sent all my documents. Today I've just received a return letter, but it's the self-addressed letter that I've put in together with the documents. But now there's nothing other than just a brochure inside the self-addressed letter o_O?

What does that mean?
*
What kind of brochure? Did you follow all the instructions?

A MMU PROSPECTUS 2012/2013. Does that only mean that they have received and acknowledged my documents' arrival, but yet to confirm it?
*
I think they thought your want to purchase a prospectus. Call up and ask the status of your application.

Exam result on 19? == really last minute lol...

Cannot simply release result, first have to ensure all markings are done according to scheme, then need to be endorsed by board of examiners, then by senate..

May i ask ? Normally for the grade of the result is accordingly to the overall average of students' mark or is fix to the grade list? Thank you smile.gif nervous about own result
*
i dont get your question. Example, if you achieved 78/100 for a particular subject which falls within the 75 to <80 range, you get A-.

The result will be displayed as follows:
- Grades for each subject taken in the trimester
- GPA for the trimester
- CGPA up to the trimester

FET decided to close down a subject so I'm forced to register with other classes. PM stands for management, PE stands for engineering, PL stands for law. But I've never heard of PFE nor PTS at all. Can anybody tell me what class is PFE01 and PTS1? Thanks smile.gif
*
i am blur too, better call up FET and ask.

Just wondering, does internship required experience? My intern is on coming shortsem, and i haven really into my major yet, so kind of worried about it, or is it better to pull it till final year last sem?
*
as long as you follow your course structure, it will be fine. please get advice from your AA if you are concern.

And so I have some doubts here .
If let's say one was granted a supplementary exam. But he does not wanna take it.
Instead he plan on to enter next intake's subj that he failed.
Is it possible ?
*
Yes, sitting for supp is your choice. You can CHOOSE not to sit for it, for example if your cw mark is not so good.

Yes, provided that there is no clashing of timetable. Not sure if need to pay the full fee or not, refer to ERU/finance.

What happens if timetable clashes ?
And I checked in Info Centre,  I registered for 7 courses but now there is 8,
And it is lecture session SUPL(some numbers) .
Does this means I'm "entitled" to take Supp exam ?
*
time table clash = cannot register
this is something new, better go ask ERU what that session SUPL means. and report here k, so that i can learn something new.
