Can i work in aerospace or aeronautics if i study mechanical engineering in MMU? please reply as soon as possible.
*
Yes, why not? Google up and see how mechanical eng overlaps with aerospace/maritime industry. Fluid mechanics, static and dynamics, solid mechanics, etc are all inter-related areas.

Yes.i google up already. It depend on the programmes of course of that particular uni. Do i need to branch out to aeronautical engineering after finish studying mechanical engineering? Or i can do it during internship?
*
It depends on what type of specific career/position in that industry. A degree or major in aerospace/aeronautical eng is of course more intensive towards the specific industry where you will learn more on jet propulsion, aerodynamics and such. On the other hand, the prog offered in MMU is pure mech eng.

Do compare the following course structure to get a better idea:

MMU Mech

UTM Aeronautics

actually i just call fom office, they say there;s no problem to shift from foe to fom.

cuz i already have the foe foundation.

they say can go straight to beta year.
*
that is a suprise. foundation in eng and foundation in management are different with only few common subjects. i suggest you call up SSC or Admission.

Added on August 27, 2012, 5:50 pmcheck out the entry requirement, you need to pass related foundation studies.

how about this :
Registration Date: 17 Oct 2012
Classes Commencement Date: 22 Oct 2012.
means I need to go there before 22 Oct?
or earlier , because I want to live in hostel. too
*
If you want to live in hostel, i suggest you to make an inquiry for it now, before the registration date. Please search this thread, someone applied for hostel before. Type keyword: hostel

During the Info Day, are there people who could consult me about my entry?

It's kinda complicated though..

Interested in Security Tech ^^

Any students of Security Tech?
*
Yes, you may go during Info day to pose your questions. Else, just give a call to the respective faculty to direct you to the programme coordinator.

Can I find out about credit transfer on Info Day?

I would like to know if I could be accepted for credit transfer before enrollment.
*
credit transfer depends on the evaluation by the credit transfer committee, appointed by the faculty. unlikely they will be present at the info day. my suggestion is, meet the programme coordinator or the faculty academic advisor during the info day and ask about the requirement for credit transfer.

Ok, I shall do that.

Has anyone here opted for credit transfer before?

Successful most of the time?

I just want to know how likely I will get a credit transfer, I'm quite worried I might not get, sigh.

I thought most diploma programmes in IT are almost the same. Having the credit transfer will really save me time and effort.
*
The committee member will have to compare your syllabus with MMU's and see what is the grade that you have obtained. He/she may ask you some questions pertaining to that subject too.

Maybe you can ask who is the transfer com member in that faculty.

Hmm, usually with good grades credit transfer is likely possible?

Man, cross my fingers..

Transfer committee member in that faculty?

Ok, I shall question all these during Info Day then, thank you very much.
*
You said IT so this is what i gather:

Please check and see whether these are the latest docs.

Yikes, with my incomplete diploma at the moment, I can't really find out I guess. But my grades are an average B+ so I fulfilled 1 of the requirement. Only problem is syllabus, hopefully I could consult a credit transfer committee member soon or possibly that day.

Or can I just email them immediately?
*
you know who they are?

You gave me a link that has email addresses of the credit transfer committee members, I think I should give it a shot XD

After all, credit transfer can be done once only, with my complications, I guess I better discuss with either 1 of them 1st.
*
lol, good luck.

Hey guys, if my lecture attendance is 100% but tutorial 70%, will I really get barred? sad.gif If I really get barred then what can I do? Can I retake the subject in the next sem? Or do I have to extend one more sem just for that particular subject? I'm in degree, not foundation.

Can someone kindly reply me? tqtq~~
*
Barring list supposed already submitted to ERU. You should be able to know whether you are barred or not by now. Go and ask your lecturer.
