Hi Human Nature,

I be sending my daughter for the June intake as she have been accepted by MMU Melaka.

As we are arriving 2 days early before the registration day,can you recommend any hotel nearby ? Appreciate it very much .

Added on May 20, 2012, 1:50 pmBtw,I have read your FAQ that the cost for Foundation in IT is around RM12K. How can we get the actual cost and the payment is half yearly or one lump sum ?

Thanks again.
*
Hi,

1. The FAQ on the fees is outdated, here is the up-to-date costing. You may inquire on the breakdown during registration day.

I am not able to advise on the payment schedule as am not familiar with payment mode, but I dont think it is lump sum.

12. How often do I need to pay the tuition fees and how much do I need to pay each time?
You may check the payment details via an online site known as the Student Financial Kiosk.

2. Edit: Please refer to nymerine's post below smile.gif

It's 4 room, each room shared with 2 people or If you want a single bed, the rent is doubled, at 18th floor. There's 2 bathroom provided for each unit.
Anyway about those ptptn, subject stuff you can just ask us, orientation is just all about making friends.

King's hotel is quite near.

nice spot nymerine. yea, have to agree with King's Hotel.

Thanks for your quick and informative replied, human nature....

By the way,is there any hotel closest to MMU which I can check in ? I wish to do some exploring as I am coming on 25th.

And... Does she need to have her own printer during her study at MMU?

Thanks,
*
The closest would be the King's Hotel, about 2 km from MMU.

Several printers are provided at the computer labs for commom usage but advisable to have own printer for convenience sake.

at 7.8 km, the location is considered far from MMU. if your intention is just for accomodation only, i could recommend some budget hotel within 3 km. are you interested?

Added on May 20, 2012, 4:08 pmoh, by the way, try MITC hotel:

I wonder why need to pay RM1800 for industrial training..  doh.gif 109xx students only need to pay 600.
This has been explained at the SRC facebook, i cant remember what is the detail. It has to do with the method of payment is now based on trimester, not credit hours. The total fee per course is eventually the same.

Young generations nowadays rely on ipad to read notes. I have even seen students reading tutorial questions from iphones during tutorial class! How silly
