Bought cheapo silicone wiper from Giant. Juddering like mad! Only smooth when totally wet/heavy rain. Planning to exhange at Giant tomorrow to a normal rubber wiper. Anybody experienced this? Or will the wipers get better with time? Never experienced this with normal rubber one.

QUOTE(abong8 @ Mar 16 2012, 10:48 PM) Nice write up bro.. Thanks.. I've been trying quite a lot of brands with that frameless wiper and each & every model also jump up the air raise hand like they didn't care.. I've been using one ayam brand frameless for the last one year. Quite good, but one year has passed and can see streaks already. Hopefully Giant won't have much fuss when I wanna exchange tomorrow. Maybe the silicone material is causing the juddering.

BTW, anybody going to the F1 race next week? I'll be going, all the way from Sarawak. Might do a little meet up since I'll be in KL for the race only.

QUOTE(xandras @ Mar 17 2012, 01:04 AM) No time no marnie... Aiyahhh. Buy the cheapest ticket lahh. True fans won't buy grandstand tickets, coz you can only see the straights from there. The hillstands give much better view.

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Mar 17 2012, 07:06 AM) Silicon wipers the problem is they need water to work fine.. If not heavy rain it will judder like hell.. Rubber wipers wont.. But Rubber wipers degrades quite fast. Yea, realised that now. So what do you think? Should I keep the silicone wipers or exhange? Do the benefits outweigh the cons?

QUOTE(K.Lee @ Mar 17 2012, 09:48 PM) Fark.. Cnt DIY coz one of the bloody screw is screwed! Knn You doing what? I remembered when I upgraded my extractor, the screw holding the heatshield to the stock extractor screwed dy. Damn hard to remove. Lastly the installer used hammer and some tools to break the screw.
