hey guys, new to DS. I have a question.
A DS lite can only connect to a WEP security router right? I'm currently using Unifi. Is it okay for me to click to switch from WPA to WEP and THEN switch it back after I am done playing? will there be any problems from switching it back and forth like passwords reset or things like that?

Hey guys, I have a question here.
With the Wii U coming, I'm actually considering if I want to get it or not. I'm also considering if I want to get a 3DS too. However, will we get access to everything the Japanese and Americans are getting on their systems? Will we have access to their online stores and such? Or are we Malaysians cut off from everything?
I realised that the 3DS have regions, what are the regions? I heard that the regions are the usual US, JP and EUR, but I heard from others that they have MY region consoles too? Is that true?
Lastly, just out of curiosity, are the Korean DS Lite sets sold in Malaysia illegal? I mean, the official distributor distributes the US consoles right? I realised my second-hand console is a Korean set, which I bought from an acquaintance.
Anyways, thanks in advance!

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Oct 5 2012, 03:15 AM) you can only access contents specified to the region on the system... you can't get Japanese stuff on US console or vice versa.... no matter where you are, you still can get into the online store given that there's wi-fi available my US & JP 3ds still can enter respective eshop at both Malaysia and UK just set the country correct as i'm not 100% sure whether Malaysia got its own eshop like some ppl said, but pretty sure if it exist, the contents aren't that up to date the region is US, PAL & JPN.... not sure whether the australia version is the same as PAL or slightly different... but so called ASI/SG/MY basically is US set, which just the warranty handled locally (no need to go send back to US) and have correct adapter as for Korean DSL... haha my DSL is korean set also so not sure it's illegal or not (don't think they'll care about it) so meaning u get to go onto the US eshop on ur US console and JP eshop on ur JP console? As long as your console is from that region it can access that region? Btw, ur korean DSL, is the charger plug's prongs slightly larger than the Malaysian prongs?
