i have a question to ask abang-abang hensem sekalian....
normally, how do none muslim greet a muslim friend/ elderly? can we apa khabar with elderly malay? will they think we are disrespectful? what is the proper way to greet a muslim elderly/ friend?

selamat sejahtera? apa khabar? or? can anyone teach me some proper words to tanya khabar?

hello is proper, but i'm wondering if there is a more mesra way of greeting them..

that is nice... but what would you think if a non-muslim greet you with assalamualaikum? can you accept it?
ah, that brings me to another question.

morning/ selamat pagi= until 11am.
afternoon/ selamat tengah hari= 12pm to 1pm.
evening/ selamat petang= 1pm-until nightime??
and selamat malam is for before going to bed,

is this correct?
