wedding is the event that I had the worst experience with
the pretending, the faking, the noise, the food all makes me want to leave asap
a noisy, shallow, expensive rite to please everyone

funerals, a time of peace & quiet
surrounded by griefs and tears
actually allowed me to reflect upon ourselves
of what we have done, and haven't
of what we are, and what not
and how death can come knocking anytime, and there's no escape
a rite of moving on, seeing the true selves and finding inner peace

I've gain more from the funerals than the wedding
