Yes.. You can.. If the seller has credit card facility.. Sub sale purchase from Individual is hard to deal with credit card due to unavailable credit card machine..

The points that you will receive is unavailable... biggrin.gif

Imagine if your credit card provider is offering points x 5.. 40,000 x 5... 200k points...

I doubt there will be a lot of seller allow you to do so, due to banker will charge them while you collecting your reward points

I tried using credit card on both purchase house and car. They only allow CC for booking fee, other need to pay by cash/cheque partly because bank have finance charges of 2.5%.

i did once on year 2009. that time buy house like buy vege, everyone talk about buy house, buy house and buy house!
i clear up all my cash for the downpayment until developer accept to pay by credit card, i take few months to settle my credit card debt.
can i call this high risk high return? hahahaha biggrin.gif

done it before.. 5% of that portion with CC, remaining dp using cheque..

actually there are a lot of developers allow to do that... some even offer 12 months installment with 0% interest.. TS is refering buying from Developer i suppose..

subsales wise, very unlikely..

yes.. possible...
some CC that did tie-up with the developer might even offer 12 mths installment 0% interest... not all CC...
best to check with the developer...
each developer differs from others...

It varies from developer to developer. I recently paid a RM20k deposit, but they only 50:50 payment via credit card & cheque. Fully charged on credit card was not permitted.

Wow, seems like lotta you guys do swipe you card for down payment huh? Never done that before bro, usually what i do is buy Bank Draft for down payment.

*Using credit card has any extra charges? If got 40k credit can use all 3 to gores? Considering if i have 3 card 15k + 10k + 10k.

i remember last time with guthrie (now sime darby), can buy with credit card, just got to arrange your bank to put your loan into the credit card, then swipe it, i did it for the 10% and also the subsequent progress payments, its fantastic! can exchange with mh points for a few flights
