Guys, how to test the orginal earphone microphone, i hardly use it and it worked before. yesterday when i tried answer call using it, the other person cant hear a word.
Please help.

Hey all. Too bad can't make it for the gathering, else will sure come and exchange ideas with all sifu2.

I have few questions that need some quick help.

1. Those who are on Rocket Rom V23, any issue going on? I am downloading the file and planning to flash it tonight. (heard the notification issue)

2. I installed a lot of application and then removed it. I felt like a lot of junk files still left behind, how to clear the phone to orginal state? It's like reformating, only left system files and all additional files are gone. Factory reset seems not able to do that.

3. How to backup files using TB? Must use paid version, or free version also can backup? Most importantly, where to find the backup file and transfer to pc, before resetting everything.

Flashing to Rocket Rom V23 now, will update and review about the rom.

1. Samsung account notification is not a problem. I froze it.
2. Ad free is still working, update and restart phone, no more ads.
3. Disable wifi sharing, wifi manager.
4. dial *#9900# and deactivate 'Fast Dormancy'
5. I didn't flash any hotfix, as stated in the change log, it's all updated in the V23.
6. So far so good, very fast and very responsive.

Will update about battery life. It's not fair for me to judge before I use more >24 hours.

I will say it's a good update after all. ) Give it a try!

Update: Previously on Rocket Rom V22, didnt get Play Store update.

But on V23, I get the update notification after 5 mins.
I am very happy this update. Reading those complains about v23 fear me a little, but I guess they didn't do it the right way

Update on Rocket Rom V23. Battery life is so much better compared to v22.
Today I am able to abuse my phone for whole day without the need to charge it on the go.

I am able to get 10 hours usage time, with 13 percent left. With 3.5 hours screen on time, gps, gaming, browsing 1 hour, wassap, push gmail.

I might be overeacted, because some of you posted better battery usage, but on v22, i can never keep up to my usage.
