Hi bro,

The product is of dual material - Aluminium sheet on one side and foam on the other. The foam side is not meant to come into contact with water as foam would definitely get wet.

However, if you are installing in the engine bay it wont be a problem as water will evaporate with the intense heat under the hood.

Weight is about 700 gm per sheet of 1mx1.4m

purchased this product from this guy few months back.. installed it on my alza front bonnet, (but first attempt, my workmanship not so tidy, so i took it off, use another half with better result)..
the result is, my engine bay less noise (u guys sure know how perodua engine sound are.. ) n less heat at the bonnet for long distance driving...

Bought 7 pcs from seller last few months and done soundproofed my front bonnet, front doors, rear boot and rear speaker panel, have 2 more extra sheets. Overall really satisfy with the outcome, now noise level is within acceptable level.
