nah i don't agree.

My logitech G700 has a power bar led on the side so i know exactly when it's low.

Can easily plug it in and still be usable while it's charging, so no downtime.

Reactivity when using in wireless mode is pretty good, so it's not going to suck for gaming purposes.
Only if you get a shitty cheap wireless mouse, then you ought to worry. But if you invest in a proper wireless mouse like G700 or better, the wireless performance is already sufficiently acceptable even for hardcore gamers imho

Don't see that happening, especially with digital platforms like Steam flourishing these days. Moreover, StarCraft II has been pretty smooth so far with similar practice.
