for me... i kinda agree with the idea of removing the manual allocation of stat points... guys don't always think of changing something its always for the worse.. making the stat points automatically allocated free us up this time and help us focus more on other stuff like skills.
Well.. its a complete change in that aspect from what we had in D2, but what i am feeling is that Jay Wilson is a person who is not afraid to take a step to make things better. Didn't you guys felt that this new skills allocation feature is very similar to Guild Wars 1 ?
In Guild Wars.. every character is maxed at level 20 or so i think, and what differentiates each character is how they COMBO skills out into fix 8 slots.
I think D3 is moving in that direction. Having manually allocation of stats points will defeat the purpose of comboing skills build because everyone would just be buzy following online guides to put their stats for the best build and using skills which is only affected by the stats they place most of their points in.
In GW1... the online guides are full with experimental skill builds for every classes. and i feel thats wayy cooler. D3 is a fast placed game and judging from future additions like PVP.. they need balanced skill allocation with varying skill builds to be fun.
