If world of warcraft, no prob as you relog, you start where you left off and the corpse/item will be still there.

If this was online MP, I can understand as long as players are still in the game, you can still continue and get town portal from them. However as for singleplayer? Disconnected and restart from checkpoint? I rather have save game function if you get what I'm coming from.

SC2 even disconnected, you can still continue and save it. Only thing you don't get is the achievement.

dont play d3 then if the above issues are your concerns.

I hope they won't scrap this idea... if they scrap this idea.. they will delay the game for another year to "tune it" then your preorder for the game would be for May 15th 2013 cry.gif

IN FACT I HOPE THEY DON'T MAKE ANY MORE CHANGES TO THE GAME AND RELEASE IT ALREADY!!

p/s... oh on second thought they do need to improve the auto targeting system a bit.. the hitboxes are too big to be comfortable..

D3 is a RPG. It has co-op mode which u makes u can play co-op with ur fren (max up to 4 ppl).

could anyone with beta key confirm this? if you kill a monster and the item drops on the floor.. then you pull the plug.

will..

1) the item lost forever.

2) the item goes into your stash.

Can I play the beta now OR i need to be invited? I read a post saying that we can download the client now and then ask for CD-Key later. What does this mean?

u need to be invited. Because u register ur diablo 3 key at battle.net, not like normally where when u install they will ask for cd key, so u can download the client, install it 1st, when release, get cd key and register battle.net, login with ur battle.net account and play.

diablo 3 is a SEMI mmorpg.

its a massive multiplayer in the sense that ALL D3 players all connected to Bnet 2.0 doh.gif

But what makes it a semi is... despite the massive numbers of players connected online, you can only co-op with MAX 4 players total in a game doh.gif

So the online player base is HUGE, but the amount of people you can play with in each game is 4 hence why i call it a semi mmorpg doh.gif


If your looking for a game with lots of people all at once ingame, then there is Guild Wars 2 and Eternal Lineage.

Torch Light 2 i believe is capped at 8 players. Path of the Exile i don't know, but i hear their having a public beta test so check that out.

i read somewhere when Bashiok response to Nephalem Valor.

Do you lose it on disconnect?

There’s a small grace period, similar to WoW where you can get back into the game before your character is actually logged out (ie a timeout), but yes if your character times out you would lose the buff.

so i am betting it's the same too for the loot thing

ya,you have to "korek" at taiwan NID:

you can play taiwan server,with sea account.
Buy Taiwan version just for read in mandarin,& NPC talk mandarin.
you can join any server with any account,just can't use RMAH.

& i don't think that is TW SERVER, should be Korea server,but in mandarin.
& SEA player will join US server,tw player join Korea server.
if you play both server,that mean 1 server 1 character.
