that's not really true... the JVC HA-FXT90 can be had for 499 at SenQ, same price as the TDK BA200. both are 300+ if you don't buy locally. I usually see dual drivers in the region of RM550 to RM1200.
between the two, the TDK is wider in soundstage and instrument separation. the JVC is better at low end bass though. both are good in vocals and midrange.
