beside GNex, any other phone also using on screen key instead of capacitive buttons? if not mistaken, padfone 3 buttons is also on screen?
it is when they show the prototype in mwc.. however in their promotional video their prototype uses capacitive buttons.. so it could be not final yet.. afterall.. using on screen buttons gives the fastest time to wrap up prototypes for mwc.. personally i kinda like padphone.. if it stays onscreen buttons and as vanilla as it could..
ya, the prototype early photo leaked is using capacitive buttons, I just found new promo video for padfone:
look at 0:19 = ICS standard 3 button icons in portrait view look at 0:33 = ICS standard 3 button icons in landscape view
if padfone is using capacitive buttons, the icon should not auto-rotate, right? correct me if I'm wrong.

i know there are alot of custom rom guide and the toolkit 1 click thingy.. however i'm wondering if anyone succeeded using superboot to root the phone without unlocking the bootloader? cause all i want is root access.. wonder if thats possible

i read in the xda forum that there are some method to do that.. just wanna know if any of you tried it.. reason is i want to have root access but want to maintain the ota update with google.. as i understand unlocking bootloader require loading new rom and backup the existing one.. there is no info showing if the ota update still retain after unlocking.. so i don't want to go to that path.. from xda it also mention that by doing root alone don't require wiping of device as no unlock is done
Next time, cool down your head and focus when application. If you do so, only takes 10 minutes Not really, alcohol base application is 100x harder and lots of errors... mild soap + water is fine, it dries in 30 minutes while alcohol needs to be exposed to dry faster. That's why blow dryer is need for alcohol application.
Please turn off your Air-Con and go to the kitchen or toilet to have better application. AND YOU SHOULDN'T TURN ON YOUR DEVICE IN 12 HOURS DRYING PERIOD! Don't be rush, and stay cool while application. My tips on 1st page is quite handy if you need it
i did it in air con room it turns out perfect.. its just the matter of taking the time and slowly check the clear dust before apply.. reason i do in air con is so i don sweat lol.. i easily sweat and hand become too sticky and thats worst

actually.. try out silly faces in video mode.. also u can take picture while taking video.. i took it out had fun with friends.. the silly faces is damn good.. my friend was asking what app is that cause so far i found no app in the market do that real time.. only those after taking pictures which.. less fun..

agreed.. do want to add a point.. why the warranty is different is because the QC different from a smaller factory.. so while no different on the phone.. they do have different on how the standard was set and the procedure is done for when the phone was made..
I m not able to use waze..I feel lost when using it.....it does not search most of the places...any successful user of waze?
i use waze when i want information such as traffic condition.. but it does not provide some of the more detail direction like sygic did with the detail lane by lane guide in the mini window.. so when i'm really looking for a place i use back sygic.. when i'm on casual travel and wanna hav updates of traffic cam, road condition, traffic condition i use waze
so how do u rate google maps in terms of credibility ?
well i didn't root it so i didn't unlock if u're asking bout the nav function of google.. so.. it's not in my list.. but both google nav and waze uses online map.. so i always have sygic around so when i'm on slow connectivity i can still use it.. trust me.. when u try to use the map and it turns to edge/2.5g it gets really frustrating.. as no call or sms or whatever can go through the entire time
same here. cant search most of the places.Sygic dont have REAL standalone POI like garmin does.Too bad no garmin for android.

guys..need your opinion, really want to buy an ORI GNex..however due to insufficient of funds, i'm looking forward to buy an AP set from directd..is it okay to buy an AP set? anybody facing any problem with AP set that bought from them?
if you really want to buy ORI.. have u consider doing installment? some of the sep do provide installment i'm sure for credit card.. but of course what you mean by insufficient funds is don't feel like spending that much money in total then AP is your another option..

not really.. i'm in the industry.. i'd think of it as the trend.. for long time flash is doing what HTML can't do.. but with html5 and more browser optimization.. it's starting to do what only flash capable of doing.. adobe see it as a time to move on as well and going into html5.. for those who hates flash.. think about the the web for the pass 10 years without flash... it had it generation..
Added on March 25, 2012, 11:28 am Initial impression on this radio. The phone runs really hot on 3G data. Battery drain is a lot faster too, compared to KK6.
irrelevant but i know some ppl who don't drive a honda anymore because scare of being rob or steal.. so in someway the reason is valid lol.. afterall it's just easier to sell off stolen ipun right..
