Hi, Im a super high bank [4inch] owner (newbie). Can I ask, what's arowana main food ? My aro 4days dun wan to eat already. The first day I bought back it ate 4 birdworms, then 2nd day till 4th day it dun wan eat anything. I put cricket in, it chew 3second then blow back out, it ignored birdworms. Any idea ?

If at all there is PLJ, it's very slight. As for DE, your plan to put the fish into a fgt will help. The base color is indeed strong and the pearls are quite well developed too.

You can always consider their Kapuas reds if you want a better body shape compared to their Radiant Red type. The XL Kapuas red is from a very well known Indo farm that has very consistently produce very good color in their reds.

XL Kapuas Red originates from PD. Aquarama Karya Lestari. I have seen the end results of the fishes from this farm and it's quite amazing color development. It's popularly sold under the moniker TOHO red.

i'm living in terengganu, saw at lfs they say usa arowana. around 8", quite big. selling for rm99. sounds ok?  i'll take pic next time i go. besides that got red, gold (around 5") selling from rm350 onwards.

I recently caught the aros bug.
Now thinking of starting the hobby.
I've been keeping kois for almost 4 years now, so far quite successful with koi.

So now, I am looking to setup a tank.
Earlier was thinking of buying a used 3-4 feet tank, cheap cheap.

and now, since gathered more info, I am thinking of buying a bigger aquarium, either a 5 X 2 X 2 or 5 X 2.5.

Can anyone share with me where can I buy/ custom made this type of aquarium at a reasonable price. However, quality is my top priority as I do not want it to leak or broke sometimes in the future. my budget for the aquarium, complete with sump tank is below 2.5k.

I just want to set up the tank and the filter 1st. After that only thinking of which type of aro to buy.

Hello, No sifu. Just a fish lover. Yes still keep quite a few aros. Its better imo u look at the individual fish rather than origin or even farms although some farms produce better reds than others. Good quality reds are never cheap - u get what u pay for.  What are your criteria's and expectations? PD Aquarama Kayra Lestari is locally known as Toho red.

Toho reds generally good body shape but slow color development.
