You got a very nice tank. How big is your tank? I planning to get a tank for arowana. Any recommendation?
*
If your plan in keeping 1 Golden Aro minimum tank size 4ftx2ftx2ft.

1 Red Aro minimum tank size 4ftx2.5ftx2.5ft.

For keeping Red Aro width must be 2.5ft.

If you want community tank with min 5 Arowana minimum tank size 5ft but my suggestion go for 6ft.

I regret getting 5ft due to my house limited space...huhuhu...

IMHO,it's better to groom the xbs in black background..than only u know the xb are xb or superhighack..
*
Best to groom XB till about min 12 inches or best 15 inches only transfer them to black tank.

This is to lock the crossing & shine till they are more stable. Once they are stable you can start grooming them in black tank to increase the color tone.

up to individual prefences..some may like wtt treatment to ''improve'' the tone, while some like it original biggrin.gif for me la,wtt is like degrading those F0-F1 species quality.

for me I just go normal,if the fish papa mama is good, keep in wat environment oso will cross and the tone will increase..

I guess u going for 7pc comm??5x2x2 quite cramp le..soon will need to upgrade liau biggrin.gif

F0 & F1...now where can get this grade of Aro...you need to paid them premium price for the fish, if got I also afraid to buy cause you also not sure. Too many sellers/traders out there trying to cheat buyers.

Most Aro selling in the market now is F2 & F3 already...

Yes agree this come to individual preference for the tank color. I personally prefer black tank thumbup.gif due to previous experience on my first Gold Head Aro in black tank, I learn my lesson decided go for white tank.

I was planning to comm 3 aro only. But now ended with 6 aro sweat.gif

Going to keep them and groom them up till the tank can't fit them. Then I only decide which one to let go... cry.gif

I agree with Ducki3s idea. That's why i always prefer to see fish from dark background.

So, anyone with experience of keeping F1 or F2? Heard F0's are not very pleasing to the eyes, but grow to be huge. I heard only yea.

Bro chrisoys, mind PM me the price you paid for your beauties? Thanks.
*
Yes, its best to view Aro in black background, provided you are very sure on your young Aro quality you are getting from.

I got few Aro are F1 & F2 in the tank :-D Price I got it cheap from reliable seller.
