I'm sure it will be exciting as they have been given a small field (Balai-Bentara) to develop. This will be a 3-4 billion dollar project so get as much experience as you can and good luck!

Hmm. Kencana just called. starting about Rm2.3k fresh grad (im alright being considered fresh grad even though i got working experience in other non oil and gas operation). To add on I'm a first class student in uni and have achieved a number of awards. So is 2.3k below the market rate?

I was Document Controller in Final Doc scope. Working at Contractor company(OIL AND GAS) for 3 years an i was paid around rm1.5 figure only.

We can carry forward the whole year annual leave..  and can carry fwd till end of march for last 2 years annual leave.. My colleague has 61 annual days.. Crazy right??? But we are too busy..

Recently the hottest topics besides Petronas-BASF RM 60bil RAPID project, another one could be the merger of SapuraCrest and Kencana Petroleum. They even came out with a new website. Anybody here kind enough to share or know what is the next step of this big player? Noticed that MMHE already has their yard occupied, rumours saying Kencana might be able to win all those coming up fabrication projects. Is that true?
