hi guys n otai2 OnG,

i have a humble question. Im with Civil Eng background and all this while im used to BS n sometimes Euro code. I just had the biggest and ugliest shock of my life when i was recently introduced to the A.P.I ..... is it normal for a civil eng to not have any knowledge on A.P.I ? if yes....how to manage the situation? btw, i have to prepare a manual calculation to get myself used to the code. If it is not normal...i hope to gain tips from you guys.

they have lets say civil n structural department. so...no problem for civil eng grads.

i personally think consultant first and then slumberger or shell after you gain sufficient experience. just my opinion. dont flame me ah...

project report is highly confidential. JUst mention type of projects you handle+your role in the project should be enough.

agree and i personally think that some of the forumers@so called otai here blindly assumed everyone wants to be spoonfed. this thread has become a place to brag about their experience and shut down new comers.

we should expect questions like this since it is advisable to "merge" anything related to OnG here. Unless certain amount of experience and knowledge are required in order to comment in this thread. I've personally PM some of the otai regarding OnG issue to avoid bashing. It's not a healthy approach since this is an open platform for discussion and inquiries but i've got good feedback. Whoever started the "bashing" approach should ignore anything he/she assumes irrelevent.

Btw, good job noruazumi for the brief info. He should finds his way after this.
