U apply Kencana? The benefit Sucks especailly if u working at Lumut Yard + saturday is working, annual leave 12 days, but its a good place for training (on-job Training) for Fresh Grad. U can get Starting salary RM2500 + after confirmed 3 motnhs add RM500. Medical only cover yourself. No additonal allowance, and bonus usually 1 month.
Now waiting for Benefit adjustment (hope so) after merged with Sapura Crest, maybe on Early April. If they not adjust the benefits, then surely a lot of people will resign. Last year almost 100 was resign. Thats why they advertise in Star Jobs.

For Fresh Grad should get RM2.5k...not less..Plus u got construction experience right?

It seems that u will be Pinewell right?..My 2cents advice, try to get RM2.5K, even at Lumut Yard the standard is RM2.5k..There offer u as a Planner? It's a quite good job and u can get a high salary after 5 years..

Quick answer... u need to know everything from the beginning until end of the project!!

Murphy usually hire "otai2" in O&G and salary minimum RM25k/month..
To join Murphy, u must have experience in Offshore Hook Up & Commissioning..
It's a "gift" if you can join them as a graduate engineer..

Example:
When u need to redevelop the field by means of increasing the gas pressure (as u need to maintain the production capacity),
then u need to install a new gas turbine compressor..installing this new GTC, means u need an additional module (compression module) to be in place on top of the existing process platform..
So, in this case, all work related to/or inside the new compression modules is consider Greenfield
While all work related to or inside the existing platform/process platform is consider Brownfield..

Another example,
U want to install air cond in your house, so the air will getting more cool, the air cond unit itselfconsider a greenfield, while all the related pipes, additional sockets, wiring to be installed in your house for the new air cond unit, i is consider brownfield works/activities

SK Petro Lumut Yard- doing Fabrication ..till today,projects @ SKpetro ,Murphy- Serendah & west Patricia and Carigali/Hess- Camelia will be started soon..KM2 Self Erected Tender Rig also will be going to start..others big project will be Chevron-Bechtel Onshore Process consist of 45 Modules, it will takes three years to complete starting from next year..Current project undergoing are Brunei Shell-AMPA-9 Compression Module, Petrofac - Cendor CDW & KPOC- a very big jacket..Next step will be targetting full EPCIC contracts..and FPSO, But I don't think, they are capable to do the FPSO conversion @ Lumut Yard unless they "korek" the Sitiawan River and built a dry dock..

For oil and gas in malaysia..usually DCS, FGS and Control System..usually a big DCS/ICSS system for FPSO market..
