Bro,

I think try Murhphy Oil, because 3 of my sifu worked there nd they like it. You can demand training and they treat you like an asset not a machine. One of my designer have been working with CPOC team at KLCC and they do not really comfortable with the ambient. They are to rijid....

BTW this is a personal opinion and it doestn't reflect the whole party.

Thanks. how about others?

Oh and what about pay-wise and benefits?

Hi bendonarticx,

Pay Wise =
More or less mostly is the same package. Maybe a little bit extra on consultancy cause they pay depends on your exp. Some of my senior right now gains RM30K per month based on 15 years exp.

Benefit =
Same like wage. More or less the same.

Misc =
Consultant treat staff (ENGINEER) as an asset, because they will use engineer resume in their proposal. They more exp engineer they are, they more chances to win the tender.
Fabricator treat staff (engineer) as a machine but with a gooooood price. They do not need the resume to win the tender. What really they care is to complete the fabrication work withou LTE..

I see. My main focus would be more of a learning experience as I've just relatively started in this. Been seeing things from the "service provider" perspective for almost 2 years and I'm thinking of trying out new things. If the learning environment is conducive enough, I'll definitely consider. Thanks

Hi everyone, I am a forensic consultant currently based in KL. I am aiming to venture into HSE either for O&G or shipping companies based in Singapore, and I am looking for advice on achieving this. My main concern is my lack of certification for HSE, and my non-engineering background. However, I do have other certification related to workplace and fire safety/investigation, and I am trying to build on these qualifications to break into the field.

I have been surveying on the job positions and requirements on most websites. As most required some form of HSE certification, I have also surveyed the training providers for HSE certification in Singapore. Based on my current cash reserve, I would only be able to pursue a long distance training course for HSE certification that is accredited in Singapore.I would like to ask those who are familiar with this field on whether which training service provider would be more reliable for acquiring NEBOSH/other HSE related certification, particularly for long distance training programs. Do appreciate any pointers on this matter, thank you.

Cheers

MSTS got NEBOSH.

What part of HSE are you looking into? Do you want to be at the field or "in the office"? Do you wanna do audits and assurance or project HSE? Is it junior or senior (management) vacancies you're looking for?
