Hi guys,
I am currently involved in technical sales for metering in oil & gas.
What I have in mind is maybe switching to a more technical job - maybe to EPCC firms like Technip or maybe with operating company.
I have only like almost a year experience. Should I stay on and move later or should I move now? Btw, does technical sales have a bright future in O&G?

Hi guys, I have posted a similar thread before but my question wasn't answered by anyone. So, I am asking again, hope you all don't mind. If any experienced O&G people could answer this, I would really appreciate it. I am working as sales/proposal engr. for one of the MNC metering companies. Junior level with almost a year experience. I am thinking of trying other position/companies for a more technical based or project management job. My question is what will be my chances are? For example, applying for companies like Technip/WorleyParson or even Operating Companies like Murphy/Petronas/ExxonMobile... What's the future like for sales engr or sales related job in O&G industry? Really hope someone could giv some advise here. TQ in advance.
