im a diploma mechancal engineering holder from a japanese college of technology under JPA scholarship. i want to ask your opinion, is it better for me to apply a job right now since im already 24 years old (my diploma degree was a 5 year program, 2 years prep in malaysia and 3 years in japan) and gain more experience or pursue my degree then work because i hear that in oil and gas industry its the experience that values you not your degree. is it true? im a bit late compared to others. what is my career path if start to work now with only a diploma? im very interested in working in oil and gas field. thanks in advance
