Well, at least for my case, the 'life quote' worked for me. Passed SRD with it in mind. smile.gif

Stop being bitter about it. You mentioned you are not being sour grape but it seems to me you go and on about 'me against the world' and conspiracy theories. Jeesh, move on.

Care to share how did you pass your SRD?

Yes you are right. Some finished final exam, convo around Oct. So for those "new born babies" please take this four months to read and apply. I teach you a way, just cc your resume to every oil and gas company and cross your fingers and sit back and wait!! Who knows you will get a call hmm.gif
*
Please don't do the easy way of applying by using one email and c.c to 1000 companies.

Instead of sitting back and wait, go get some work experience in smaller companies who are in the business.

Sorry, no meaning of encouraging people to do it the easiest way as I myself also understand how tough it could be of being called up for an interview. Effort is needed. What i mean is for those who would like to enter O&G field, DO NOT ENTER if you are with the intention of just thinking of getting high pay. Just some advice, think what suit you the most and where exactly does your passion lying in before applying for jobs. Instead of becoming a trend follower, why dont you choose to become a pioneer. Jangan ikut orang saje. THINK! ANALYSE! ACT!  icon_idea.gif

Agree.

Everyone needs to be passionate and do it because it is in the blood and not because it brings food onto the table. For the freshies, during interview you will be asked what positive steps have you made to differentiate yourself from the thousands applying for the same post. Sitting down at home browsing this website has its limits to helping you. Be proactive and offer yourself as intern to subcontractors or suppliers if you cannot get a position in a bigger company.

Due to the leakages, inefficiencies and mediocre management of the lucrative fabrication and ship yard business there will come a time when Dialog or Muhibag will be able to catch up with the big boys. MMHE is partly managed by Technip now so there is a slight hope. In comparison with the Singaporean and Korean yards, we are nose to nose at the finish line but few laps behind.

Yes, my cgpa above than 2.5. You give some bright hope bro. Hee thanks. My concern know to find  job in local service co that the scope releven to the any field eng position in big 3 player.

Suggest you to try Kencana HL at Lumut. Small place so you can learn a little bit of everything. MMHE is too large and you may be confined to a narrow scope.
