May I ask, is rm2300 salary for a junior engineer and kencana pinewell sdn. bhd. underpaid? Im a fresh graduate, no experience, and i dont mind the salary, just wanna know the market rate, thanks.

I'm not entirely sure if there are any O&G companies based in Melbourne. I live in Perth and there are a lot of O&G companies there. Perth is not bad considering it is just 5 hours flight from KL. Anyway, be it Melbourne or Perth, the current exchange rate between OZ $ and RM is excellent.

Yeah.. the department that i interview for was actually formerly under sapuracrest, but they just merged, and havent move in fully to the dutamas office yet, makes me wonder..

I would like to ask about internship. I'm pursuing degree in MEng.

My goal when i graduate is to get an OnG career preferable as field engineer(offshore). Is it important for me to get an internship in OnG company? or i can just search for any internship related to my course?

Its the Serendah & Patricia Projects, one is a wellhead platform while the other is a CPP with LQ, quite a big project altho not really high profile probably due to its location in marginal field. Im not sure about the construction side but on the engineering side almost everything is approved for construction already..
