Anyone here interviewed with KPOC? What kind of interview they will conduct and how is the prospect in KPOC compare to other end user like Shell, Petronas?

oh i see. so the field isn't going to be developed is it?
*
The last time I was looking at it, no. Things may have changed because we left a lot of oil down there. But in terms of Health & Safety, I don't think it is ever going to be possible.

We were looking at possible gas injection program for better oil recovery but if you want to do that, you need to make sure the field is not leaking via any old wellhead anywhere.

Service Engineer and Project Service Engineer are two different Job Description.
Project Service Engineer=Project engineer, please check job description of project engineer and you will know that they are not require to go offshore.
Servise Engineer is like hands on type of person who need to service, testing and commisioning the equipment. So if the equipment is at offshore, they will be required at offshore.
Unless Job Description of Project Service Engineer that you mentioned cover both of above JD, so they need to be offshore later.

I have a principal in UK. The project engineer is the one that does installation, testing, commissioning and service on thei equipments whether they are at offshore or onshore.

Normally, when it comes to Project Engineer, it is more towards PMT (Project Management Team) and Service Engineer is more to servicing equipments.

But it all depends on how one organisation defines them. In your case, I would say it is more towards both Service & Project.
