My bro's car got knocking, 1.8MT also. After reading your post I told him to try esso and it did eliminate the knocking quite abit. But esso really feel underpower compared to petronas or bhp, my dyno butt can feel it.

His car the knocking usually comes when driving in 3rd/4th gear around 2000-2500 RPM. More likely to happen when going uphill. Seems like the harder you rev the less chance knocking will happen for this car.....which is weird, only when driving like grandma will the engine knock.

Will tell him try 97 when this tank finish. Car is still stock ecu btw.

Not disrespect to QUICK-SAVE but aren't their prices always a premium as compared to other shops? So if QUICK-SAVE is offering it at 2.55k and the price quoted here is at RM2.1k, I don't see it being unrealistic at all.

If there's an in-depth need to garner more clarification, one can directly contact them OZ/SPARCO distributors to confirm if they have supplied their products to the particular shop. Easier & more Safer....
