XC, i cheapskate so i go 17 inches, but actually only rm100 difference per tyre, means every 2 years,only rm400-500 difference if take 18inches.

17->18 cosmetic, means, tire selection is all same, but....but 18 inches looks nicer less gap. but 17 inches can do the job, if the purpose it to provide good tire selection.

if you ask me, yes, i regretted, i should go for EVO look replica 18inches T_T.

Sad to hear that. But coming from an Indonesian built Avanza, I'd reckon fit and finish will STILL be noticeably better even on a Proton.

The Avanza, towards the end of its life, was like a baby rattler. Funny sounds everywhere that T could never even start to fix. So I gave up trying.

Plus stuff falling out and breaking all over the place: seatbelt covers, window motors (yes  on a Toyota), the rear seat latch lol. Also add a fractured flywheel after 2 years, and a broken gearbox after 3. Finally, the suspension gave me loud ngek2s a week before it was totalled.

The car lasted 5 years.

If my incoming Inspira is worse then ALL THAT, then I will certainly lose ALL HOPE in Proton lol.

Yeah I would be ANNOYED with the ngek2 if I get it, but give it a few years and I would either get used to it or I would have changed to a set of Titan adjustables by then. In the bigger scope of things, it's pretty trivial. To me at least, YMMV.

With that said, I have also had the pleasure of intimately knowing a 2nd hand pre-Bangle facelift 3-Series that was a TOTAL lemon so I have little expectation of contis as well lol.

Though a REAL solution to the ngek2 problem is well appreciated, so keep up the good fight.

Last car was an Avanzar, yes a TOYOTA!!, The otherday when I borrowed my friend's VIOS, arrived at the Toll gate, power down window...pay toll then cannot power up again!!!!! and I tot proton only had this problem.... Maybe proton Whinners more louder whereas Toyota fellas maybe like to keep quiet about it. (scared affect Market Value Mah...   )

Eiraku's chassis no. 122xx (she said manufactured Dec 2011).  Yours is 125xx (manufactured last week).  Simple maths... Proton produced only 300 cars from Dec 2011 to March 2012?

Now it all makes sense.  My chassis 075xx must be manufactured somewhere June 2011.  Left in the open for too long until can see water marks and stains on some parts of the body.  Aiya...nevermind la.  Got 8k discount and going to keep car for long time...  After tedious washing, polishing and waxing looks presentable already.  But no mod yet -- NO MOD, NO MOD...  Love my 2.0P!
