Hi all master and shifu here,
Just got my viva 850 solid white 2 days ago.
A very nice and compact car to drive in the city.
I have a question about the audio sound system of viva. The stock CD player have treble and bass +5 , but I feel like no bass at all. Is it changing the stock speakers will improve or I need to change the CD player as well?
Thanks
ronron

Bro, dats the reason y i change all spk n HU same day i have the car. Open ur door trim, and try press ur spk center cone, then u will understand why there is no bass sound....

For cheaper solution use myvi original speaker, then u can use ori HU. But if u plan tu use aftermarket branded coxial/comp spk, u'll need to change HU cos ori HU cant support anymore, screen will blinking since the spk pullout so much power from radio.....

Me only use entry level range to replace the stock parts, HU JVC KD-R436, Front door 6.5inch comp JVC CS-VS607, Rear door 6.5inch coxial JVC CS-V627, all costs me less rm800.....

Icic. Wow cool. Thanks for the reply man. Now I know how much I need to prepare if I want to change the speakers and CD player.
Thanks a lot rclxms.gif

how much for tat ?...
i'm driving viva 850 also.....currently using stock rim 12"
i go genting couple of times a month......and i able to go up hill with 5 adults....

wondering , after i change my rim to 14".....does the car enough power to go uphill with 5 adults....

I trade in my stock rim and tyres for RM200.
total i paid is RM1200.

not sure about 5 adults, but for me, I drive alone all the time. so after i upgraded the sport rims, i do feel handling improved, steering become ringan abit, power same no underpower feel.haha.

Hi all,

I'm considering a Viva BX 660.

Can Viva 660cc owners give feedback on whether it is severely underpowered, especially when going up the hill?

I went to 2 showrooms so far but they don't have 660cc model for testdrive.

yes. will underpowered.

that's why I bought 850cc.

yes i know. im afraid that after submitting documents, the dealer said that the interest is not 2.75 but higher than that.

one more thing, is it dangerous to submit guarantor documents to the dealer by email? sorry first car buyer here.

My loan interest is 3.0%

Documents better submit by hand.

hi everyone, ill most probably be buying a viva S in the near future but I'd like to ask:

1. what's the difference in features between viva S and viva elite? all i know is viva elite got foglamp and viva S dont have.
2. what's the highest speed for viva S while being stable? as in, the car won't shake, still feels stable and so on. I don't plan on driving until 160 km/h la of course, just wanted to know :3
3. when is the optimum time to refuel?when the last bar of the gauge is blinking? when there's only one bar?
4. any ideas for upgrades that can make the viva S a more fun, comfortable ride?

just so you know, i emphasize more on comfortability rather than performance and i intend to use the car for city driving mostly, highway also got but not so often as i intend to use it to drive to college.
*
My opinion:

1. Viva S have no side skirts, no fabric door trims, no 14inch alloy rims, no fog lamps, no abs (only elite ezi have), no spoiler (only elite ezi have), etc I forgot. ..

2. 80km/h would be best. For me is good enuf. More than that..hehehe.. your choice...

3. full tank for me is 350km.

4. Upgrade: 14 inch rims, anti roll bar, front strut bar, stiff rings.

JUst my 2 cents.... hehehehe
